Green sneks 4th grow 8 auto strains in coco in a 4x4

Going to throw the California snow into the dark when I wake up because even though it’s covered in white pistols if you pull a cola aside you can see it’s totally darkened pistols all the way down im also . Washed the other girls and am going to do full plant drys if you think that’s a bad idea please tell me why I’d hate to get bud rot this close to the end

Very nice, solid looking.
So even though it looks done, it’s continuing to throw white pistils?

If you are talking about doing a bud wash and then dry. You should be good. It was hard to figure out just what you meant in that  Congrats on the harvest. I had a lot of white pistols left in my last few plants I did. Almost like you. Orange on the lowers and whiter on top. I think it was from my super high temps here. I have done one plant where they stayed white for so long I gave up and chopped. It was solid cloudy for about a month. I plan on doing another to see if it comes out the same.

Yep as n2sy said. I always wash after the wash i let a fam blow on high on them for about 1 to 2 hrs til i feel the bottom tip cola dont feel saturated wet. After that i hang to dry as normal but i leave a fan on them til they r not dripping and feel like they did before i did the wash lol. Also if u havnt seen @Arrow has a nice breakdown on a good budwash to rid of everything funky

No I was asking if doing a full plant dry was a bad idea given how dense the foliage is( I know how to wash a plant I’ve done it since grow 1 Lol but I know my posts get sloppy when I write them so late for me) I removed most of the inner leaves to increase airflow

Yup very dense plants like fast buds are very prone to nonstop foxtailing

I just take off all the big fan leaves and if they r bunched up alot i use rope or something to pull the plant apart and keep it spread across the scrog. I hung a scrog from the ceiling i just hang from that lol. So far so good. Or cut a few off to thin it out.

Kk thanks I’ll relax and not worry to much about them and every so often jostle the branches to release any trapped air . California snow is in the dark , and my favorite thing is since she got her color from the temp shift , the green and purple are mixed together very beautifully

Hmm so I’m thinking the nectar for the gods didn’t have enough silica to support enough strengthening of the cells ,so after a little research I found out Diatomaceous earth is one of the best organic sources of silica so next grow I’ll add a tablespoon to each dry amendment feeding (it’s also an anti pest too)

That’s very interesting. I have been reading up on the benefits of silica. How would one use de? Mix it in water or top coat the soil and water through it?

I would think top feeding(through massage) would be best because then it could also do its anti pest thing and cut up and dehydrate the pests

I was reading on this just 3 days ago or so and i was reading u let it set in water for a while it will break down into a paste type but still be watery after so long prolly just thin it out with a bit more water i believe it was like 5 tbsp per gallon to make a mix for plants. Vaguely remember might be off on the numbers here lol. I do smoke a bit of. Cannabis

Good info I was just gonna wing it and apparently both ways work , the wet way is better for actively seeking out pests with a spray bottle , where as the dry way is better for just making a giant cloud that gets everywhere to kill the hiderz , put personally I’m using it more as a fertilizer amendment since coco has 0 natural silica I figure 3 tablespoons at initial mix( I hear you can do as much as 20% of volume) with a few tablespoons here and there will be fine, I don’t want to add to much to early or the stems may get to stiff to lst

I have a runtz about close to 3 feet tall now. No silica til recently and the main is so hard and thick i cannot bend it if i wanted to lol. Would take an hour of massaging and still would prolly snap. Its thick and hard and didnt get anu silica til.recently lol

Did you lst? I think lsting may also send hormones to strengthen the cell walls too since it’s constantly pushing trying to right itself

Only thing i did was pull branches down to keep it open like a christmas tree lol. She is bare right now. Gonna get it ready for flip she almost 3 feet tall

I tried to bend it over like 2 weeks ago it was like a tree branch then lol. Its all good. She will make it 1 way or another lol.

So I couple of branches of the orange sherbert were being floppin so I thought the main stalk was strong enough to support them , I was wrong and it ended snapping the main stalk . I was planning in waiting 4-6 more days before harvest but in stead I’ll just leave it in the dark a little extra long (4 days instead of 2 ) . Terps smell like fresh sweet orange skins . 27 inches from soul level. FANTASTIC genetics
