Hehehe yep thats a given, they doing well now growing so I do not hear âwe are outâ
This year I added 3 autos to harvest early when the last quart jar is tapped.
Wish I could âget rid ofâ mine⌠I still have like 10 lbs left
Love the ladies maam you got your hands full. Your kid got greenthumbs like you I see.
@Caligurl no way 10lbs you not doing the edibles and infusion no more
I process it down all the time when I have time. Thatâs what is remaining lol⌠it started higher ![]()
Good to know you still doing your craft maam and still around
Thanks @SilvaBack203 She was scared to grow her own plant. I used the phrase I always heard from kind ling-term growers here.
âThe journey begins with your first plant.â
I think in a few years from now she will be a confident grower and have several plants of her own and maybe someday join the forum.
Best part of it all she has you for guidance. Mama always gonna look up after the grandkids ![]()
The magic bunny warren is hopping!
I topped everything this morning and also cut lower branches for cloning. I hope the cuts of the new strains for my local friend @Bonjoyle survive.
Repins autos are blooming. Wet orangutan.
Hoppy grows!
Neat painting.
Thanks! I had a local graffiti paint it. I also asked him to tag the corner. Super nice young man with a powerful story.
Yesterday I topped all the girls and planted the last seeding I had.
I took the tops and some side branches and did the 45 degree cut and dipped in clonex and put all in an organic potting mix in pots.
Normally I would have used a different approach but my sprouting supplies are scattered throughout our basement since it flooded again this year after our last big rain.
It was over 90 degrees here yesterday and they all wilted immediately. I put them in a styrofoam cooler sans lid on the back porch. This morning most are standing.
One thing I noticed was every single plant I topped has a hollow stem. Iâve been growing a few years now and encountered it before with certain strains but never all plants.
Is this a new trait in seed breeding? Is it an adaptive trait due to environment? Has it always been this way and I was clueless?
I googled it and @Silverback had the answer
Tell me all you know about hollow stems and branches - Show Your Grow / Grow Journals - ILGM Forum
Thank you!
I am growing strains from a local company that grows about 60 miles away and the rest were SIGLY (something I grew last year) seeds we found at harvest.
I was thinking it is possible an adaptive trait due to our very dry climate?
If hollow stems are a sign of high THC and monster plants, the family will be very happy at Christmas time!
When I get hollow stems, I give micros. Specifically B & Mn to stop this. If a stem is hollow then itâs taking up less nutrients and water.
B- âNecrosis develops between the nerves (cell wall formation) and the roots become soft, facilitating the appearance of possible fungi. Abnormal growth of plant limbs, roots swell and stop growing.â
Mn- âEnergy transfer, acting as a bridge ion for ATM (Adenosine Triphosphate, the first energy molecule synthesized by the plant).â
I will dose them tonight.
They all received a dose of peruvian gold, a product that @Caligurl recommended.
Clones are OK. A few leaves are fried, but I think some are possibly going to make it.
The two I thought would not make it did! I now have roommates I planted in the bag. Weâll see how this works out!
Sorry to here of your daughterâs dog passing away
Never easy
Condolences ![]()
Thank you @Blackmoon
Their dog had severe epilepsy. She almost made it to seven years. The vet said he didnât expect her to make it to five years.
She was a beautiful, friendly, and faithful dog and lived the greatest life with many four-wheeling and camping adventure.
She died at home from a massive seizure surrounded by her âparentsâ and âlittle sisterâ and is buried under the tree where she liked to nap.
I still expect to see her coming through the doggy door when I visit.
