@dbrm32 yeah with keeping it on 1000w it’s a lot harder to control the heat at 600 I can keep it just about 78 to 80 I know it’s better to use the higher Watts but my fan phone dims austed enough to maintain it so far I’m not getting no wilting no Burns they actually look pretty good so I guess I’m going to have to keep it at 600 watts cuz my tent is only 6.5 ft tall by 5 x5 I did get my PH down to 6.2 with the newts in the water but it raised my PPM going in even with RO water 2 85 but so far if you seen my pics they seem to be doing pretty good so I guess this first Grow like ya’ll say is an experiment I will learn from there you see what happens that really appreciate you guys more than you know

@Jarnkat hey Jarnkat the other day I was asking you about dropping my light down from 18/6 down to 12/ 12 in increments every two days should I put the HPS light in as I’m dropping it or should I put it in when I get to the 12/12 lighting schedule
That I don’t have the answer for you I only use LEDs I would say when you get to 12-12 because you still not into flower so it has plenty of time to get to doing it’s thing. Hope this helps!!

I have a 450 kept 24 inches it still burned a few leaves late into flower
I’ve now got mine at 600 watts it set 28 in I’m able to keep a 79.2 degrees temperature they’re starting to bud I’m still at 16 / 8 hours for another two days then I’m dropping them to 14/10 4 days later then of course 4 days after that 12 / 12 hours that will put them at 45 days change light to flowering then the excitement starts to happen I guess first grow but they’re doing wonderful

@Jarnkat @dbrn32 I’m just getting ready 2 go to my 12/12 light schedule I did a little trimming of my plants wanted to show you I’m amazed how big these leaves are you guys probably already know it if you’ve done this for years but my first grow blows me away though

My plants are flowering quite well but I’m wondering the pistols are starting to look Brown and some of them aren’t Amber yet they’re still cloudy but I have like three almost four weeks or they should be up and you look at these buds and tell me what’s up

They’ve got a while to go. At least 3 weeks as the plant starts putting on weight.

@Drinkslinger @dbrn32 @Jarnkat Hey guys was wondering if you could tell me why some leaves are turning yellow and the others aren’t they still have 3 weeks to go ,any advice or words of wisdom.
If it’s just a few, that are near the bottom/old/usually not receiving light, it’s totally normal.
If they’re near the top, or new leaves, there might be something going on.
Pics always help.
Is yellowing pretty much isolated to near tops of plants? That’s usually an iron deficiency or temperature stress.
