GG autos 2 weeks not gaining height

Hi all,
@Willum I got this thing in today and I’m testing it to add a small under the desk (250W) heater. I’m in trouble like you during off hours. I have a small 2x2x4 so the little heater is/should keep up. The controller will do up to 1200W.

So far so good, right on. I’ll let you know how it goes. If you dont hear back from me, I burnt the place down… :+1:

@Newolhead I was checking that controller out just the other day. May end up in my system as well. I have a radiant heater now, however as space fills up (hopefully) it might not fit. So I’m going to check out that heater too. Thanks! :peace_symbol:

@Newolhead - :+1:t2:

I’m finishing up my first grow. I’m using the Pot for Pot 5 gallon and Gorilla Glue Autos under a Mars Hydro TSW2000.

I only used pH’d water but did start to get a calcium deficiency going into flower. You might want to add a low dose of Cal-Mag when flowering starts. Might be able to add nutrients also but being my first grow i kept it as simple as possible.

How many acres @JaneQP ??? :joy:
Holey variety, your holidays will be superb this year! Good luck with them!! :+1:

@EYE69MYSELF - oh man! Thanks for providing a visual aspiration! And thanks for your suggestion. This being my first growing experience I wanted - like you - to keep it as simple as possible. Already I am learning so much through the sharing of knowledge, experiences and support of members of this forum. Next time around I’ll feel more confident taking more control. Again, thanks for sharing! :peace_symbol:

@EYE69MYSELF how many weeks has your grow been going?

@Willum, No problem! I figured you’d want to see where you’re heading with it. She sprouted on September 9th. I did supercrop her.

That’s why she’s so short and wide. Just keep reading here and ask for help when needed. There’s a lot of amazing growers here wiling and happy to help. spend almost too much time here just reading and re-reading and looking at grows and different issues and deficiencies trying to learn as much as possible.

@EYE69MYSELF curious if implemented any supplemental co2 with your grow. I think our equipment is pretty similar, i.e. light, type of soil, etc. I’m not sure if I saw your tent size, but mine is 3x3x6. I have exhaust and intake running continuously. The intake is coming from a room with a gas fueled water heater & furnace. And I’m regularly over the plants talking & singing (I know ) and read somewhere that for a grow this size that might be enough. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance as always :peace_symbol:

@Willum, I don’t use co2. I’m in a 3x3x6 also. Not sure co2 will make a huge difference or not in our size tents. I see people using the bags but have read different things about it not doing much amd the co2 in a room would be enough ut haven’t done a deep read into it yet.

@EYE69MYSELF ok cool. I thought I saw that our tent sizes are the same which is one reason I posed the question to you. I have researched its use and kind of came to the same conclusion. That’s one reason I ran the intake from my furnace room, because I read that the gas combustion creates co2. So between the h2o htr & furnace I figured it couldn’t hurt. Hope you don’t mind my pinging you. Our set ups are so similar and your rewards have certainly inspired me! Thanks for your input & time! :peace_symbol:

No problem at all. Ask anytime you have a question. I’ll help my best to help! I’m learning too but will share anything I have found out on the way. We can learn together. @Kwititrightmeow is growing Gorilla Glue Autos also and has a similar setup. She’s using soil but she has a journal going you can read thru also. We’re about the same place in our grows.

@EYE69MYSELF Thanks for the tag-in! Great minds think alike with those seeds!! @Willum I’d be happy to answer any questions that I can, although I’m still on my first grow and still learning as well. Here’s a link to my grow journal, if you want to take a scroll: Sprouting Gorilla Glue Autos

I’d say that your plants are looking pretty good. The upwards growth will stall for a little while towards the beginning, and the spots could either be from the water droplets (like suggested above), or the start of CalMag deficiency. My plants started with CalMag deficiency pretty early on, I believe, and looked pretty similar to the spots on yours. Like I said though, I’m just a newb, so I might be dead wrong. Welcome to the community and Happy Growing!!

@Kwititrightmeow thanks for reaching out! I was looking for your journal with no success so thanks for the lead. I’m headed there now! I do agree with the theory of water droplets as I communicated with the support team with Pot4Pot and that was their diagnosis. Thanks again for leading me to your journal. Looking forward to more sharing :peace_symbol:

BTW @Willum,

That temp controlled outlet is cash! Works great, I was even able to set it up to match my Infinity Fan temp readout. They’re in sync now.
