Alright, I harvested my big sative 10 days ago. My smaller sativa and my indica are still outside. The sativa was mostly milky, the indica is all milky. I wanted to wait on the indica, until the trichomes are at least 25%-30% amber, buuut, they’re predicting possible frost tonight. Should I pull the plants now? Or throw a tarp over them, or will they be ok? ---

One frost shouldn’t hurt them too bad. So long as it warms up the next day. They can surprise ya by what they’ll recover from. A tarp on a few stakes would help for the night. ✌ ---

One night shouldn’t hurt, depends on the temps, but frost during the flowering stage can be particularly damaging. It can affect bud development, leading to lower yields and poor-quality flowers. I haven’t checked the trichomes in a couple days, I’ll check 'em, if they’re ready, I’ll pull 'em, if not, I’ll cover 'em. ---

The temps are supposed to get down to 35 tonight and 34 tomorrow night. That’s not freezing, but I live on top of a ridge in the woods and it usually gets a cooler. ---

Mine have turned brown after like 3 frosts or a freeze. But 1st even 2nd frost never hurt mine. Or friends’. Shake em dry. Inspect for rot.
