Fresh grow help

Is there any way to post videos on here?

Same as pics??

Thats the message i get when i try.

That sucks… YouTube first then I guess…

Hopefully you guys can see this. I am curious on if my fan is blowing hard enough? Or should my leaves be moving more?

Also i was wondering if i could remove the bottom dead leaves from the big plant. And count it as having 3 sets of leaves growing its 4th and just top the 4th set?

I hope that makes sense.

You want the circular fan to create a gentle breeze on the plants, and typically want it pointing at the top of your plants. I keep one below my plants, pointing at my containers, and one above. I didn’t see that gentle breeze in the video.

As far as topping, I would wait, the bigger girl seems she wants to grow roots (Fresh transplant?)

Here is my mentors grow guide, this is where he covers topping. Hellraiser is God when it comes to growing. I follow his methods step by step. I couldn’t be more happy with my grow.

Yes, prune off those dead leaves, not doing you any good!

I checked that out and there is some really good info there. I moved my fan closer for more of a breeze. They are moving more now. And ill hold off on topping for a bit. I’m going to go one node higher since ill only have 2 plants.

Update:

8 days from transplant and 23 days old for the big plant and 20 days old for the small plant.

The big plant was doing so well since transplant that i decided to top her and trim some of the dead leaves from the bottom.

The smaller cookies plant is finally coming around as well which im excited to see.

Its now growing on both sides equally.

Next watering the big one will get its first feed, the smaller one we will see how its doing when the time comes. I havent fed them yet because they went from garbage miracle grow to coco loco. Plants havent looked very hungry to me yet.

Well here are some new pictures 2 days after the hair cut and shes bounced back perfectly.

There is some much growth its crazy.

She likes one side of the pot more than the other. I have noticed her leaning.

The cookies is still just trucking right along.

The big girl is feeling light in the pot so i will water and feed today.
Im also going to try some lst and see what i can come up with.

My humidity always raises when the light first comes on. The it equals out. Is that something that’s okay?

No more pests either.

I will post pictures later in today when i figure out what im going to do.

When i go to lst should i do it in the side of the pot the plant is pulling towards already for should i try and pull it over to the opposite side?

I’m guessing… but I would give light to the least lit leaves.

I don’t LST. However I follow @GST93 grow, doing amazing things with it. See here:

You’re going to want to maximise the light absorption from the plant. Best practice is let it grow 2-3 nodes and then bend it over while it’s flexible.

The larger the plant gets, the stiffer it’ll get and impossible to LST.

You’ll want to work clockwise around the pot, so start by bending the main stem and as her next one pops up, tie that one down as well.

Take a look at this channel, he does a great job of explaining LST for AF week to week: https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCYzBVni4Q-CZbwOHdBWB-9A

Hey @Zee, in my mind (which is small, narrow, and inexperienced) I see what he did as LST of a different style. I have too much plant for my space, but I did essentially the same thing he did. Its working wonders!!

Do you have another name for that method??

Same process, it’s just more extreme

Im going to mess around with mine here in a bit and see what i can manage. Ill keep you guys posted on what i come up with.

I love from seed to stoned youtube videos. He is very informative.

He’s got a great approach to filmography too… I love the time lapses.

Have you seen anything from him recently though??

I havent seen anything from him recently no.

Theres a couple other youtubers that are informational.
Pigeons420 is a good one. He uses different techniques.

My method is called: Read the forums and watch YouTube videos for 12 hours, and then attempt to make it up as I go along.

Honestly though, it’s just about feeling out the plant. I know the tension on the branches day to day, and how it like to grow - so just adjusting accordingly.

And remember, as long as you don’t snap a branch, you can get pretty vigorous with bending.

Ultimate goal, get all of the Colas at the same canopy height, defoliate all the extra shit that blocks out light (large fan leaves, small colas) and just let her grow :slightly_smiling_face:

Here I stole a picture off of google to explain.

See how the canopy has ended up like a Bonzai tree, with the main branch bent over and then subsequent new growth tied down.

I drew red lines for you where I would have tied this plant down to achieve this affect.
