This is our rescued 2 yr old Berta , she was found in the middle of the road during a monsoon . Truck driver said he went right over her but somehow she missed all 18 tires.

@Growdoc we got these 4 from a lady who had some trees removed. Unfortunately she wanted to wait for mother to return than intervene and atleast hydrate them.

2 made it through the night and were able to be rehabbed back to the wild

I released one this summer so she could go find a home before winter, she has dropped in a few times since release, she robs the wife’s cat bowl.

For awhile I could go find them in the morning now we just get to see them on wyze cams :smiling_face:

It’s a lot of fun when they come back , we have a cat door they learn to use . That way if it’s ever too much there’s always a way home

They have first coat of fur but eyes haven’t opened yet. Feeding , keeping warm and getting them pooping & peeing with a warm cotton swap for a few weeks until soft release in a safe environment (we have a cage outside a door to no where)

It helps produce nitrogen in soil, it also help keep top of soil from drying out so much

Another 3 babies came into the rescue around 7 pm yesterday. Long night of making sure everyone was stable pictures to come later today after everyone gets rest
