I repent…

Seriously though, that’s good info.

I just scanned through and judging by the ingredients…

Coco Loco is not Coco Coir

The pH and watering schedule should be on track with soil. 6.3-6.5 veg and 6.5-6.8 in flower.

@OGIncognito @LiesGrows @dbrn32 @ChittyChittyBangin @JJ520

Any of you guys confirm this?

If I’m right then treating soil like coco will lead to lock out and build up associated with pH problems and over watering.

Yep, id treat that like soil

Coco Loco is essentially Happy Frog with a lot of added coco impo its a great seed starter mix great aeration and contains enough nutrients for a 2-3 weeks but id 100% rear it as soin and not coco

Yep I’ve heard it needs to be treated like soil I’ve also heard it’s Happy frog with a bunch of cocoa added in

I’ve never used it but agree with your assessment.

My go to bag medium and run 6.3 in early veg and 6.5 from there thru harvest. It does drain better than FF’s typical soil mediums. I’ve ran several slurry test straight from the bag and the PPMs are generally around 2500 PPMs. Their best bag medium IMO :love_you_gesture:

Thanks Low. I was going to make sure as the original reply was Fox Farms Coco. I started a thread for this exact reason. Preciate the flag grobro!!

I definitely burnt these girls. This is week 14 of flower. I was planning on harvesting on Monday which would make it the beginning of week 15, but I don’t see any color change in the hairs. They are all majority white. Should I just cut them down and take them as they are or is there hope they will still mature?

Those white hairs will turn red and recede back into the bud. No need to chop just yet. This is just the way they look at this stage. She is consuming all her leaves putting everything into those buds. Patience is the key here. I know exactly how you feel. I have two where the trichomes just won’t turn milky. Seems like it’s taking forever. But I’m gonna wait til they fall off the vine if i have to. Biggest mistake is harvesting too early. Yours look great and normal.

Yeah I definitely rush to chop lol. I just figured since I let the PPM run way too high and burnt them to a crisp they stunted or something like that. I’ll continue watering with plain PH water and wait for those hairs to change color :sunglasses: Thank you!

I would say they’re definitely ready. The new white pistils you’re seeing are foxtails and often due to the the lighting intensity being too high :love_you_gesture:

So they will never change to a amber color?? I did originally plan on chopping in a few days. I do have a light meter and can check what the light intensity is at later today.

They’ll go amber further down the road but your THC will be degraded leaving them in flower past THC production. I’ve smoked more than my fair share and no harm just unsightly. A sign your lighting is too intense is when you notice the original pistils turned amber then the new pistil growth started. Can you get a scope pic past those and into the bud area. :love_you_gesture:

This gelato foxtailed on me after pushing the lighting intensity way too hard

Man maybe one day I can grow a beauty like that lol
