Thank you so much for that! I just switched the timer from 18/6 to 6/2. Gonna keep it on and see where it’s at tomorrow. I believe my little digi hygrometer may be off. Had it for like 3 years. I really need to step up some of the hardware in my setup, but I’m content with results.

I even did a batch of clones under 6/2 as well in the cellar. And rooted a bunch of cuttings there at the same time in the cloner. Works great! And when you do flip to 12/12, you can choose your time without making them miss too much of a beat. Under 18/6 to 12/12 flip, you might have veg on at night in winter so they stay warmer at night, but flowering in spring you might want cooler temps at night (so flower on daytime) to bring out colours. You either switch the times over 3 or 4 days or give them a very long day (or night) and get it over with. I’ve done long days or nights, they get over it! I’ve never changed my schedule over 3 or 4 days tho, too much effort to get where the timer is!

I’ve ran 6/2 for years to help keep the temps down. They’re still getting 18hrs of light, they just get a couple hour naps every 6 hours.

Last few days I have had absolutely zero energy. The day after summer break started for the kids, my wife had to go east for work and it’s been a fuuuureaking madhouse. I think I’ve nearly forgotten my birth name. I’m not even doing a new journal because I don’t remember who all too tag lol.
Not too exhausted to get this baby going, though…
LA Kush Cake from ILGM. Unfortunately, I have to stick with only 1. If it’s rabbit baby wants, it’s rabbit baby gets. Only things different this round are light schedule, and I have Vivoson pH Up and Down. I was mixing heavy and adding a little tap to raise or citric acid to lower pH.
Jacks at 4/2, new bottle of TPS Silica Gold. Same 350r, but I think I’m gonna opt out of using the UVA. I’m running the light at 6/2 for veg and, so far, peek temps have been 84° which is manageable. The added UVA would easily put it at 90°.
I really wanted to drop an auto from our late brother, Lacewing, but for now, it is what it is. But, hopefully this weekend, there will be a solo cup with a little sprout in the closet.

PH pen and scale are calibrated. Mixing up a gallon of Jack’s tonight so I can blow up some coco in the morning to get the LKK in a solo cup. I hope to see some progress by Sunday.

I think I’ve made a mistake off the rip. I used purified drinking water for germination, and I’m not sure how it’s purified. Most likely chemically, not distilled or RO. I’ve had almost no progress on the LKK so far, and have had a consistent 80° in the closet which I’m germinating in. So I got a couple of jugs of distilled, a replacement bag and paper towel. If she don’t start moving in the next 24-48hrs, then it’s on to another.
It’s been many months, so I’m not beating myself up if the first seed plops out. Y’all have a great weekend. I’ll let ya know what happens soon.

I use purified or distilled… never saw a difference between the two. Always add a few drops of h202
