Kinda kickin’ my own booty…

I had the solo cup Yeti Wedding Auto… HAD. The only place to dry the Apple Fritter is the closet, so I had to cut the lights. That put me out of growing the YW inside, unless I totally dismantle and relocate eeeeeeeverything. Not happening for a solo cup. Repotting and taking her outside is just a hxxx no for me. It’s still in the freaking 90s during the day and she’s in coco and it’s just an all around bad idea.

So, another scrapped from poor planning. Tis what it is. I’m going to clean the closet real nice, then go through the stash box this or next weekend so I can plug back in soon. I’m thinking 2 photos in 3 gallons. Maybe try a reg run. Who knows.

Just saying… : Being an Auto, your baby could just stay on a window sill while your Apple Fritter dries. She will still continue to grow even if it’s not optimal.

Man, I thought about it, but I only have 2 (un)available windows that the sun hits. One is our sliding glass back door. There, it’s animal food or an instant doormat. Also, it would just be right out in the open lol. The other option would be a front window basically looking right at the street. It would be less than 24hrs before a passing cop saw it. And also, the window is a perfect height for one of the dogs to just walk up. Trust me, I thought about getting one of my small lights out and using a linen closet upstairs, another closet in the bathroom up there, but I’m freakin strapped for options lol

Alright, so the Apple Fritter still has some time to dry. I’ve managed to keep drying temps close to 65 and rh close to 55. Anyways, few more days.

But I asked my wife what she thinks. Break down the closet? Or start 1 more. Then she asked me if it would be said and done before my birthday in April. I said, of course. So, she says then it’s probably a good idea to do one more. So I’ll start some things as soon as I get the AC out of the closet.

Y’all have a great weekend!!!

Stoned and thoughtful…

Apple Fritter will be ready to go in a sweat box tonight. I’ll give her about a 70-80% trim, then close her up for about 48hrs.

Today, at some point, I’m making a list of 5 candidates. My wife will narrow it to 3 and then, together, we’ll pick 2. I’m absolutely clueless as to what strains to go for. I’m not sure if it’s just past strain choice, or if it’s all around grow technique, but I get a very common citrus, almost like LemonHead candies, aroma in my grows. I mean, I semi expected it with this one, but I’m going to try and pull some stinky this go.

Tomorrow or Tuesday will be super clean up. Gotta go through and caulk/seal any gaps in the old closet. Disinfect, sterilize, put up some new liner, blow out the filter, trim the hedges, sweep the lawn, vacuum the dishes, etc etc.

I’ll most likely do 3 gallons, but need to get a new bag of Part A soon. I tell ya h-watt. Going 4/2 with Jacks really saves on the CalNit, but I’m definitely burning through the 5-12-26 quicker than you’d think.

I’d really like to try Mega Crop again, but no matter how I mixed it, different waters, different pH adjusting, I could not avoid a huge pH drift. I mixed a gallon the other day in distilled water with nothing else. pH started at 5.67, and less than 12hrs later already gone up to 5.82. This last grow with Jacks, my pH never went up more than .05 over a 5 day period. I can almost mix it to the pH I want without adjusting.

Lord willing, this next grow will be the last grow here in this home. I know there’s a much newer 4-5 bed, 2-3 bath with a large building in the back to turn into a foster kennel for 3-5 bigger dogs, on 2 acres waiting for us. Of course either the spare room/office, garage and/or shed in the backyard would have an area that is insulated, powered and ventilated  It’s gonna happen, y’all, just watch.

You may have your Sunday back. I hope it’s a good one. Enjoy it. Make it great. Love y’all.

She wasn’t the lb I originally hoped for. She wasn’t the 12oz I anticipated at the end. Apple Fritter did come out to (drum roll please)…

288g or about 10.3oz.

About 2oz is kinda fluffy so most of that will go to some kind of concentrate, be it hash, QWET or something. The rest is nice, dense, sticky, strong aroma buds.

She wasn’t my largest pull out of the closet, but she was by far my biggest single plant harvest by almost 3oz.

Getting things ready for the next one! Still haven’t decided, yet so I’ll do that tomorrow. Either way, by the end of this coming weekend, something will at least be soaking.
