I have found that those peat starter pods inhibit root growth unless you cut off the bottom.
I used those on 3 grows and they did not produce as well as direct planting in the soil.
Just my opinion.
Update: Day 11. One plant did not germinate well and eventually died while I had to be out of town for a couple days. However, the other is thriving and doing fantastic in my opinion! Thought? When should I start nutes? I got the ILGM fertilizer kit and am using A Pot for Pot kits and soil. Also when do I start trimming and LST?
The survivor looks good. I would cover her with a clear dome (solo cup) will work. The leaves will take in the condensation that builds up inside until the roots are established and start feeding the plant. For nutrients you’re in a pot 4 pot set up with a coco medium. After you cover the plant with a dome, water a ring 6” around the base, that’ll get the roots spreading out searching for water. 1/4 of a cup to start with. No nutes needed with that medium for several weeks. They claim seed to harvest but you’re good for about 3-4 weeks before adding nutrients. For LST I wait until the plant hits the 5th-6th node and top back down to the 3rd or 4th node, then I start LST training. Critical things to have are a PH pen and TDS pen. Lighting is critical as well. Welcome to the community by the way and you’ll find a wealth of knowledge and help from some awesome growers on here
