First time grower. All look ok?

Both are Blue Dream auto. Both in same soil and exact same environment. First question is does one of them like its stretching? For 10 days old do they look small? I have 2x vs1000 led qt 50% brightness and set at 20 inches above top of fabric pot.

They look good. I don’t see anything that leads me to believe that it (or they) are stretching. Size is appropriate for age. Happy growing!

If you’re watching her this close this early I predict you’ll be successful!

F that not the right attitude, I’ll make u feel better, like I said new, I got the spider farm kit 27,27,63 thinking that was all I need WRONG, on my part not the kits fault or light. Me not knowing sprouted 3 autos thinking I would kill at least 1. Didn’t so just placed order for a 4x4x78in cause running out of room, also added another light few weeks ago still do not have nutrients to feed cause, so far over budget. It’s ok, if first grow turns out not that good, I guess I will be Rolling Some Super Fatties. U don’t have to have a 500 $ light from HLG to grow bud, they Might be better but why send that $ on a light when I having issues keeping my temps and humidity right. temperature and environmental stess can cause loss of yield. So spend 1000 on a light but if u don’t know what ur doing your just wasting money, sorry long, some things aggravate me :poop:

I’ve had smaller.

I don’t think it’s wasting money if you’re going to continue for the next year or two to try to hone growing marijuana skills. I spent two grand on two setups and this is my first time. What you call waste of money I call a project. There are some people who may waste money going out to eat and on other frivolous things.
I feel if you did your research and you’re happy with what you bought but not happy with the results do more research. Figure out what you did wrong. Life is a journey if everybody did everything perfectly the first time we would live on a weird planet of perfect people LOL.
The one thing of wasted money I feel is, when you buy something you bought the wrong thing and then you rebuy for abetter product when better research would have been a better buy.
And trust me I’ve bought things I should have not bought than buy a different brand same item… my cheap ass. Lol
Usually good at that now but I just bought a new pH meter because the cheap one I bought was not as good

Lights just aren’t the place to skimp on. Quality led lights come at a price. But in my opinion are well worth the money. Had more bud from my first grow with the right lights the first time. Read too many issues with cheap Amazon blurples to buy one and waste my time and money.

Good luck with your grow. Everything looking good so far!

I agree 100% lights don’t get cheap ones do your research. I ended up getting mars sp3000, in my opinion very efficient removable baluster. Running two of those lights at full blast only uses 525 watts an hour in the removable baluster allows the tent to be cooler inside.
I read good reviews on the Mars sp3000 are there other lights that are better I’m sure there is but for the price I bought both my 2 x 4 tents with the lights $780 shipped plus tax.
I’m old I’ve had a lot of hobbies spent a lot of money on hobbies do I regret any of my hobbies no. But I wish I waited till now for remote control gas powered trucks a lot cheaper today.
Next my money would be a good ventilation system and proper temperature control room.
I’m also learning that pH levels mean the world I just bought this awesome pH instrument that someone recommended instead of my cheap one should come in Saturday.
This is my first grow and I dumped a lot of money into this and I’m still learning that will still be learning years from now.
Everybody’s great here awesome everybody thank you for the insights

I totally agree with what everyone says don’t cheap out on light of course. My bad I’m a poor dude and can’t afford to drop 2 or 3000 dollars on a hobby at one time. That’s like a/c for your house or a new roof, lol it’s a hobby Imhaving fun and I get out something that is better then nothing. I’m sorry if I offended anyone . Sad part is trying to get started already spent like a 1000, I don’t have lol

I didn’t drop the money all at once. But an O here is around 240. Had $1200 in the total grow. I got 25 O from 1 grow.

25x240…. Somewhere around 4500. Don’t feel like doing math. Made mine back first grow. Didn’t sell a drop, not in it for that. But I didn’t have to buy so made it well worth it. It’s a fun hobby if I do say so my self.

I had six month clone that size! She’s now outside and 3 ft tall. Her name is Gary. You are going to rock this. We all do the best we can with what we have. You are tuned in with a bunch of great growers!

You can’t tell what they’ll be when they are babies from my experience. I had two plants sitting beside each other this spring, both nearly the same size. Now the one that was the sickliest when they were young is 15’ tall and the other is 5’. You never know what the heck these silly things will do next.
