Just hit 5 weeks since the sprouted. Getting ready to flower! Gonna do a feed tomorrow just flushed them 3 days ago I believe and it’s possible I spilled some on the leaves.
Used fox farms sledgehammer for the flush
It sort of does but looks a bit more like it’s asking for something. Too early yet to say. I’m not inclined to write it off just because it’s more spread than the concentrated dots you usually see on nute splashes.
Very nice! Looks like yours sprouted about 4 days before mine did so looks like we are on the same timeline! Are you training them at all, or letting them grow naturally?
Well I just looked at them more closely and have discovered they are tiny holes in the leaf. Can see my finger on the other side when I was looking at it. It’s only really on that one leaf maybe a tiny yellow spot on a fan leaf below it.
I guess I’ll keep an eye on it and hope it doesn’t spread
Just letting them grow naturally. Just wanna get a feel for the whole process and what they do when. Once I see what that produces I can fiddle around with stuff but keeping it simple for the most part.
Have a small oscillating fan in there and a small dehumidifier. I’m in the north east and the humidity fluctuates like crazy. It jumped up 10-15% in the tent yesterday just cuz it rain like a bitch here. But then it’ll just drop to like 50% the next day or two.
But yeah just following the recommendation from the light manufacturer and the fox farm feeding schedule with the trio. Bringing the lights down and turning them up at veg really got them to stretch!
Sounds like a good plan! Im using Fox Farm HF soil, and nutes lol. What light are you using?
It’s from vivosun it’s a vs1000 light. So nothing big. Want to upgrade down the road to something bigger.
Do you have fans blowing on your plant? That actually sounds a lot like rubbing from another nearby fan leaf.
Yes there’s a small 6” fan in there. It’s weird cuz it’s only that one and a fan leaf right below it. Both on the same plant. The other plant doesn’t have it and all the other leaves look good as far as I can tell.
The plant it’s happening on does have a lot more leaves than the other plant.
I’d suggest removing the damaged leaves and keeping an eye on that plant. If it re-emerges, then it will be time to evaluate nutrients. I’m just leaning pretty hard away from nute issue and more like an environment issue. Fan/leaf rub damage makes a lot of sense.
Would make sense because I only fed them once. I use FF OF soil so it’s good for like a month before it needs feed.
Also just did a flush which would make me think the nutes in the soil were lower after that. I am going to feed them today seeing I did just flush them and it’s been about 4 days pots are much lighter now
Hey man you weren’t kidding about the stretch! They grow like an inch or two every night it seems like. I just moved the lights up to ~ 15 or 16 inches away and they are already a foot from the light now!
The stretch is real. Its worse in photos then autos. Photos are known to double in height over the course of the stretch.
Maybe sometime in the future I’ll give those a go. I got like 15 blue dream auto seeds left so that’s my smoke for a bit, not a bad thing though!
The tent I have is like 7 feet tall so should be able to handle that
Hey quick question, I’ve noticed my runoff has been on the acidic side (like 5.5 ph) should I have what’s going in be more alkaline?
The plants seem ok I trimmed that damaged leaf off but nothing looks to have spread so that’s good.
That is fairly low. What is your runoff tds? Ph and tds of last feed and how long has she been in the pot?
There’s the notes from last feeding. Going to be watering with plain water today, pots finally feel lite.
They are six weeks old today.
And by smaller one I mean there’s one that has noticeably less vegetation than the other. More than likely due to my mistake in watering the shit out of them when they were young lol.
One did recover nicely though and looks like it is consuming nutes faster I’m guessing due to better roots.
