I really need a ph pen my plants look bad I know itās an uptake issue cuz I just flushed went back in still got leaves curling up at top crispy thats a calorie mag issue and I use calimagic so it must be really low or hig lh ph thatās got to be my isssue
O.k. I have done clone of a clone grow for 3 years with no problems i do get what you are saying but on a small scale were on top of our game so we can get away with it not like a big grow op. Genetic degradation usually only occurs when itās unclean plant and messy soil mix or dirty room. So it gets passed on to the next but either way your doing great keep it up ššššŖ
@fano_man it will be a grow of chance to start from seed so that leaves you cloning from plants you just determined the sex of a short time before. The only way I see you doing it is to flip them as early as possible and hope they donāt stretch. If they do cut their heads off.
Iām thinking about doing a grow that I grow only the main cola. No secondary or tertiary buds. Just one popsicle bud. Flip the light when theyāre only a few weeks old and just after the stretch, cut off everything other than the primary cola. Iāll try to pack as many little ladies into each bubbler and let it roll. I wanna grow stuff like the buds on the cheech and Chong movies I grew up on. Right now though Iām just trying to get back into the routine of it all so everything grows smoothly. @Stonedagain2 I did exactly that on 2 of the 5 I cut the heads off about week after flip and the bottom brushed out strait buds so itās like a little ball of buds ā¦a big fat popsicle when done lol got to take another pic went fit in size
@ThcinKC damn I wish I knew that because I had a couple buddies who work commercial Growers down from Maine told me 3rd generation is a no no makes sense now why they say that so these plants I didnāt bother to take cuts from because they made it sound like I was going to get some mutant bulshit weed so I got my buddy way down from Georgia in the week or so heās got Green Crack crossed with San Fernando Valley OG Kush and some cherry pie and a couple others I canāt remember

Any way here the leagues of the good plant (lil younger by about a week of flower itās a little bigger cuz it had a week more if veg same age tho ) next to a further along by a week leaf of another plant
There are definitely points where nutrients are in more demand than others. Although calmag is usually a combination of nitrogen, calcium, and magnesium. So you donāt really have a calmag deficiency, but calmag could possibly treat a deficiency of any of the three. I canāt really tell from your pics, that may be calcium deficiency.
@fano_man I think cuttings off a three plants down is ok as itās not a f3 in the heredity line of crossing genetic material. I think those are the genetics you want to avoid. I canāt remember the problems that theyāll have but I do remember that theyāre garbage. The clone of a clone of a clone is the same genes. The problem that Iāve had with clones was when 1 gets sick they all get sick. Of course I usually got tired of smoking the same thing and changed genetics because I was burned out on smoking the same weed and needed a change to get my buzz on. Lol I wanna cross up some really short autos so come winter Iāll have a 
load of seed and throw them out down a fire break that was previously fertilized. Then grow them like weeds and maybe nobody will know. Iām certain it can be done on the other side of my back fence line. Just another thought from smoking too much. Happy growing and keep up the good thoughts

Good question sensei I have neither in my knowledge I push till I paint the nail ā¦I donāt got all the fancys yet was at a 6.5 in ft strawberry field last I checked with reagent test i just moved and had to get a new car all at once so light build and ppm ph pen on hold I understand what your saying that itās good to know and Iām using a combo of general hydroponics and advanced nutrients along with self 100 and a couple clone products Of microbe life with mycos humid acid and rare earth and a crap load of other beneficial bacteria but I know Iām putting the horse before the charge not having a dechlorinator or RO system I know I got aways to go for equipment but the one plant is so freaking green compared to the 4 other with are all identical in feeding light and age but 1 week apart in flower so maybe in a week if the super green one is starting to crisp and curl upward Iāll know itās a cal mag demand issue and not ph because Iāve never had a lockout and Iāve yet to change nutes from day oneā¦first harvest was ridicules on hurdles Iāve over come to keep even wanting to try again second run and third run I pat my self on the back i havenāt bought weed in months and i have a 4th which were talking about 3rd was white widow clones 2nd was the purple haze clones and 4th is clones of purple haze clones I can not get rid of these damn thrips either Iām getting aggravated really Iām glad Iām gonna have a lul between grows because I need to eradicate these menaces to my society;) see what I did there 
@dbrn32 I no thereās N in cal mag usually as mine does but to be honest my bottles getting low and I been skimping a lul because last run I though I was giving to much so I did t see an issue but i c them having same issues as mothers around same stages In flower time line wiseā¦ maybe its genetic period if Iām not mistaken i havenāt had 1 green plant all the say to flush other then the monster cookies which was bag seed but top shelf buds one in a million seeds grew awesome by far the best weed and smells taste and has the. Knock out of the bag I got it from I the bought monster cookies multiple times as I liked its distinct earthy taste usually I feel these exotic and elegant looking and tasting weed has nothing on some earthy or piny stuff feels like flavor novelty takes away from power Iāve tried soooooo many strains and there are all good in there own way but i like the buzz over all Iād smoke earthy monster cookies over some lemon haze anyday ā¦anytime of the day sativa is nice and usually flavorful but I wanna keep smoking it I never feel satisfied like I find d my self hitting the distillate pen after I smoke a joint of overpowerfully tasteful weed

Back to original question moneys been tight I def need to go to hydro store Tom and grab some cal mag Iāll see if heās got a cheap good ph pen I donāt really got it to spend but whatās the sense of growing if I canāt dial in my plants and figure out my issues Iād like to be able to tell you ppms sensei @peachfuzz but I just struggling right now but Iām definayley on the low side compared to my previous gross were one grow I scorched o e I starved and one I had to throw outside mid flower so who know what really the issue was and then finishing under hps I canāt be for sure what it was but I had leads curling up at end of flower I though leads crisping and curling upward only ment 1 thing ā¦ am I wrong lay it on me

@fano_man not my place to say but lock out with ph problems or tds problems have happened to me in dwc more time than I care to remember. Easiest thing I can suggest is to keep ph on spot at 5.8 in hydro. I keep the solution changed out every 7-10 days. New nutrient solution around 1000ppm. I use general hydroponic 3 part nutrients. When I add liquid to my bubblers between changes itās plain water one day mild nutrient solution next day. Mild is usually around 3/4 strength or 750ppm.
I noticed you had general hydroponics armor si and rhino skin 
. They are the same thing essentially only made by different companies. They both make the ph go way up so be careful using them and if you canāt check the ph donāt use them because they will burn your plants up and lock out the nutrients. I follow the KISS method. Keep it stupid simple, keep it clean, and less is more. The nutrients build up quickly because we donāt know what they are eating so we change it out with fresh. That way they always have what they want and never a build up of what they donāt want. I hope this helps and happy growing brau

Thanks yea Iām so busy when i get around to watering Iām scrambling in the amā¦Iām in soil by the way I use strait fox farm and it makes sense your saying about the silica if itās making my usual 6m5 which it always was before I started using silica thatās gotta be issue causing me to jump in ph to lock out cal or mag I forget which one is locked above 7 but yes I should fill a cooler up over night and let it sit all day and use that as my declorinated water now will the sun also cause other reactions to water will it purify it more ph wise to close to 7 which Iām pretty sure my tap is about 7 anyway so disre guard but would be good to know

@Stonedagain2 thanks bro I didnt realize the silica was shooting ph up not that I tested it or anything but I just stopped adding the armor si for 2 waterings now and the last plant with all green is staying green thatās the girl that was a week behind so I had a lockout for cal mag some sort from the silica thanks buddy wish I woulda caught that earlyer I have such small plants this round any fan leaves I loose is crucial cuz I dont have many plus these thrips Iām catching hell again but my buddy is 10 mins away with beeeeaaaaannnn yyaaaaayyyy and he got back from Georgia with the mothers of San Fernando valley OG x green crack and cherry pie has got more purple haze and gsc seeds which Iām dropping tonight
