Fair enough. So what just hold off on feeding next water until my numbers are back where they need to be?
I’m running autopots in coco with Jack’s. I don’t worry about it unless I have a wonky plant. I do go to water only the last couple of weeks but only because the plants don’t really need it.
The feed, feed, feed, and feed more is typically used ny those of us growing in coco or coco/perlite blends. If you’re in an amended soil like ff happy frog or ocean forest you may have better results rotating full strengh feedings with ph’d waterings. Every situation is a little different, but glad to hear you are liking results so far.
If you tie those outside buds down to the fabric pots with some kind of line or pipe cleaners, you will almost double your growth by opening the plant up @LongtimeListener_FirsttimeCaller. It really does help get big fat buds
And I would love to do that, but I am about to run out of space!
Then the best you can do is selectively remove any fan leaves that are blocking light to lower buds. It’s better than nothing. I don’t remove any leaves I don’t have to.
I could wrap them back around, though instead of out. I’ll do that this evening, actually.
Anything you can do to open it up makes a huge difference I assure you.
All these were light green airy buds choked off from the light. I moved the big buds blocking them out of the way. They won’t be real big but they’ll be real good @LongtimeListener_FirsttimeCaller
FFOF is my medium.
If I didn’t add silica while in veg and I’m about to switchto flower is it worth adding silica now?
I think so. Trichome stalks are composed primarily of silica so will help with trichome production.
I have tried it both ways. It definitely will bulk buds up even if you only use it in flower. I use it up to week 6 @FreeWorldOrder. I could probably use it longer but I get pretty big buds most of the time
They’re all foxtailing like mad but still at least 10 days from 30% amber.
Thanks for replying! I appreciate it!
Thank you! I was considering just that, glad to know it’ll still be worth it.
Well, maybe. That’s badass!
How much and often do you use silica? Is there a cut off point with that as well, like last two weeks or something?
I use silica from the start of veg all the way until water only. I use the minimum callout and it goes in every feeding/watering. FYI silica is always added first, followed by cal mag then everything else.
