it is such a simple idea … at the very least it will hold back enough of the roots by the end of the grow to not stop things up…

Little update. 1 week of change.
Looking to swap water here soon, granted it still seems great.
PPM and PH levels have been rock solid.
The larger plant on the left was topped yesterday as well. Also been removing a fewer fan leaves here and there.

Ive done it once so far, I definitely feel that in veg it can be stretched 3-5 weeks if all conditions are ideal.
Flower I am going to find out, maybe every 2-3 weeks. It takes me about 30 minutes in total to drain and re-fill.
I am using a water transfer pump to drain the system and I am impressed with its abilities.

Today is 3 weeks from cutting to flower.
I also added a smart PH/PPM meter which is the best thing since sliced bread.
Here is a comparison of the day I cut to flower to now.
I am going to wait a couple more days before I lolipop, I want to start trimming leaves so bad.

Its been about a month from my last update. Things are cooking pretty well.
I did have to add a water chiller as ice bottles were getting old.
PS the clear tubing on the cooler is getting replaced with black in the next couple of hours as it was just dropped off. Only ran the cooler with the clear tubing for 24 hours. This cooler is having no issues cooling my 16 gallons.
