Bro we have all had a bad grow, hell my first grow the plant was 5ft tall but only had a total of 7 dry grams produced lol then my last grow 4 plant I had to throw away was all mold and rot.

lol ya, I’m not upset because I killed a few seedlings, I was just disappointed because I killed all the strains I was excited for, particularly the vader og ( my all time favorite strain) and was left with the “ honorable mentions “ so to speak 
and now I’m not upset at all, they may not be the strains I picked out as my number one and 2 but I’m extatic that I’m actually not only gonna have something to harvest, but it’s gonna look and smoke like a seasoned growers stash, that’s more than I could have hoped for on my first successful run

Thanks man, I appreciate that for real, I certainly learned a shite load lol I developed a really solid Tek and will be able to use every mistake I made to improve future runs, blind light greed being 1 I’ve learned it’s a complex balance, not a simple more light=good , the whole thing is like a dance, you have to understand the plant , how it works, what conditions affect what aspects of the plants biology etc. I really feel like I could absolutely crush it on my next run with everything I’ve learned from this experience, and I met some really cool cats along the way

That’s the cool thing about my Tek, I don’t have hard rules or settings, I go off of plant reaction, I watch em like a hawk as seedlings, pay attention to what they like or don’t like etc, then i build my environmentals based on said observations, I naturally have a few things that won’t change too much but I cater to the specific genetic rather than chasing numbers, and now that I’ve seen the process and know what to expect I can really dial it in, but yes I certainly will learn more each time, this is the most rewarding thing I’ve done in years, can’t wait for my future self to outdo my future past self

I’m a bit of a polyglot lol picking up new skills is a hobby of mine, I never could pick just 1 thing so I started embracing that by learning as many skills as possible before I die, I’d show you the Damascus blades I learned to forge last year but they’re all in video from no telling what I’ll be learning after this, THERES SO MANY CHOICES!!! lol

@SausageMahoney So I have some good bad news lol a single lone pollen sack mysteriously appeared dry sitting on my wedding cake, I checked and can’t find any others, probably stress from the heatwave caused it, in any case looks like I may get the wedding cake cross I wanted after all

It was 1 lone sack, or some dry carcass of a moth I’m not sure , it was the only indication I’ve seen, could’ve come off my clothes a moth could’ve molted or one of my plants popped a pollen sack that I missed

I don’t have any Bernie’s that are showing as hermies, every calyx has a long double pistil, I looked it up and it’s not uncommon for 1 or a few sacks tk form on a healthy female from acute stress which would explain why they aren’t presenting as a hermie, I removed the sac but not before it disintegrated on my finger, luckily ventilation was not inside the tent at the time, if it was what I’m hoping it wasn’t I’ll be looking at a few seeds on a number of inner colas in the area not a full pollination, I’m gonna go node by node tomorrow around 4 pm

It came from above the wedding cake which is in the center, most likely it came from my clothing from outside or from the front left banana blaze onto the tiny wedding cake

I lied, I guess any sacs already fell off? I can’t find a single ball on those plants so how did 3 at least get pollinated? I guess I got my wish for crosses

@Growdoc pics are above , early partial pollination event likely from the heat wave, no balls or sacs can be found, how does this happen?
