First Ever Grow - Indoor | Grow Tent | LED | Auto White Widow

@scylents - Not yet, that’s my next required reading for two weeks. I’ve done some research that this sounds to be a solid plan:

  1. Trim all fan leaves/larger leaves, and hang to dry.
  2. Dry in a small room with 35-40% RH, for about a week until dry but not stale.
  3. Final trim of all the small shit, and then into Mason Jars
  4. Mason Jars for 1-2 weeks to cure, burping the jar once to twice a day.

As I said above, i’ll have to do some more research now the time is here - put it off for 8 weeks since it was irrelevant at the time.

No doubt. I haven’t prepped for that part at all!!

But that’s a good step-by-step compared with most of what I’ve seen…:+1::+1:

I think that’ll be the most stressful part of the grow for me… I don’t think I’ll be able to stop myself from hitting a gram or two while they cure, but I want to try to be disciplined. I plan to start some seedlings toward the end of flower to keep myself busy. I have some train wreck waiting in queue.

Oh I’m definitely going to smoke some before it’s fully cured…I have 0 self restraint

I’m thinking about starting another plant, but I’m not sure. Originally this was just to get through COVID with a cheap bulk supply of greenery, but I’m quite enjoying the process - nice one hour a day in the home office tending to her.

Oof, Train wreck sounds good - I’ll have to follow when you get her in the soil.

I love my autos so far. Question for you, how do you stress train when they are bulky? they are not growing out far enough for me to really do much :frowning:when I go to train it just bothers the buds below it…if that makes sense. Stockier plants

What strain is she? And what size pot are you growing in? Looks to be a 3 gallon.

Mine had significant early growth and so it was easy to bend the new stems during veg phase.

I would recommend against touching it in the flowering phase, at this point it’s just growing buds so manipulating it into LST wont cha he your yield now. Scroll up in this thread and look at week 2/3/4 for my grow.

I’m in a 5 gallon and it’s sativa amnesia haze I was assuming the same. I’m only 4 weeks in and it’s been flowering for the past 2 weeks everything went super quick. Note this is 3 separate plants same situation for each

Man, if it works, then it works!!

I have literally never heard of an AF flowering at 2 weeks!! That sh*t is crazy.

Did you pick the seeds up from ILGM?

And the plant is so small as well for a 5 gallon - have you done any research on early bloomers? I’d be interested to read about them!

@scylents don’t tempt me!! Now since I’ve upgraded the tent I could do 4 smaller plants and then store that haul for a year long personal stash

Then that also means I need to bust out a new light, because this one wouldn’t support 4 plants.

goes to google to look up new lights and seeds

Mmm crispy tips on these bad boys this evening. Just the remnants of the slight nute burn last week.

But looking really good now, getting some nice frost and some decent sized clusters. Can’t imagine what yield I’d get with a better light.

(Sorry for the blurple, I was lazy taking pictures )

I got them from a kid I bought my carbon filter from. He said he had them laying around and asked if I wanted them. Gave them a shot… they only took 2 days to germinate and it’s been super quick for all three autos since. It’s crazy. I’m pretty impressed with them even if I don’t get a huge harvest. It was honestly on some down time waiting for all my seeds to come in from seeds man, which took almost 6 weeks to get. So this was my first grow (practice round) :joy:

Random but do you think I should switch to a 12/12 cycle? I’m on 18/6. Recommendations for autos? Picture just cuz it makes me happy :upside_down_face:

I say push that lady!! She’s looking super!!

Nah, I’d keep it 18/6 cycle as it’s wifey regarded as optimal for AF start to finish.

Some have also done 24/0, 20/4, 12/12 but 18/6 seems to be a solid cycle.

You’ve also got some pretty curly leaves going on there, what’s up with the soil?

Here’s my girl two days ago:

The one with the curly leaves is in some random soil it was an experiment, the big bushy ones are in roots organic soil and that one is just a mix of whatever I had laying around. Honestly this whole first grow was just an experiment while I was waiting for my actual seeds. I have 2 plants outside one in the ground and one in a cloth bag as well. Just trying to see how things taste and grow differently before I mess with bubba kush, blueberry, and banana grape seeds

Well right on then! Keep chugging along, looks like you’ll get some nice nugs from them!

Do you think I should flush that plant? Maybe the nutes were to strong? See the leaves turning a bit yellow. @GST93

Not sure if a flush would work, but no harm no foul to give it a try. Looks more like a deficiency in the plant more than too many nutes. Although you do have some tip burning as well (from nutes).

Do you have your own grow thread? If not, open one up and tag us all in it.

I do, I’m not sure how to tag you in it? I’ll add you now. Going to give the plant this recovery liquid called mothers little helper… maybe it’ll help?

Day 65, Day 37 Flower Update (Week 9)

Figured that I maxed out the nutes on this girl, so just going straight PH balanced water until the end now. Call it an extended flush if you will. Did a runoff into the sink today to test it. Coming through at just around 6.1PH

I’ve read 12 weeks is about the timing to harvest, so that puts me 2 weeks out from today.

Getting some nice frost on the buds now, and still swelling nicely.

Any thoughts or recommendations from here as I finish out the grow and get ready for harvest?
