First DWC hydro and plants are droopy

@lebowski i just tagged you on a thread i posted for auto watering
As well as this works it has problems as well. Actually the only prob i have is occasionally a emitter gets clogged and i will see a plant drooping then i have to clear the blockage but its occasionally not constant. And this usually starts after the 2nd or 3rd grow as its kind of difficult to clean the lines after each grow. Im going to try air to clear them next

Itā€™s a great hobby and one of the things I like about it is you can experiment with different grow styles. Iā€™ve done soil, hydro, ebb and flow, coco, Promix, Autopots, auto watering etc and that gives you a chance to find what works best for you and your situation. I built my own grow space and lights too. Big savings for big performance by doing that.

You didnā€™t mention lights but get the best you can afford from someone reputable. FYI a lot of lights sold from overseas are, to be honest, terrible. And itā€™s hard to have too much light while growing cannabis.

I have the kind 330 i believe. It come in my poverpriced kit lol

ohh yah i will never go back to frozen bottles but when i did i ran my res out of a 60 gallon cooler and i attached a netted bag to the side of the cooler to keep the frozen bottles away from roots because they can do damage like you said, they do not sink to the bottom and with air pump they will bob around

They didnt die lol. Got everything squared away. Tank is down to 65Ā° they look happy. Now my next questions is would i start a new thread on help pruning? Thanks again to everyone who gave me some help. Its greatly appreciated.

No need to start a new one. We can just tag back in folks here and get a grow journal rolling from this topic. As far as pruning, I wouldnā€™t be removing much if anything. If you can see airflow being blocked, Iā€™d remove some of the giant fans to open up oxygen/co2 exchange.

Thanks, couldnt of done it without yall. No i hadnt, i took the easy way out lol, i used autos. Mainly because everthing Iā€™ve seen says they tend to be smaller than the regular feminized seeds. I have it at 18/6.

A little FYI, recommend distance between plants in hydro is 2 feetā€¦ lol

You gonna have a boat load of weed coming out of that cooler. It may get a just a liiitttttle crowded. May be ok with small autosā€¦.

These were my autos.

Both are Lambs Breath autos.
Good luck and keepā€™em growin! :+1:t2::v::sunglasses:

Should i change the light to 12/12? It looks like they are flowering already.
I read some where it makes the buds bigger when there is more light

Iā€™ll say this, running 18/6 has been known to extend auto growing times.
Running 12/12 will pretty much ensures the plant will start to flower when mature enough or itā€™s pre determined life cycle. Now are they big autos or small autos?ā€¦. Hummmā€¦:man_shrugging:

Canā€™t speak to making buds bigger but, extended veg times may make you have more of them.

Either way, you gonna have a but load of weed.
If they do stretch, you may have to do some serious management skills with them.
You got this! Keepā€™em growin! :+1:t2::v::sunglasses:
