You measure it with a TDS meter. It’s a measurement using electrical conductivity.
@WickedAle got it and my tds is 1381 from watering it with the cal mag this is the last month of flowering for the big autoflower so hopefully this gets it geared for a good harvest.
1381 is pushing up to the top side of where you want to be. Keep an eye out for yellow or burnt tip of leaves. Back off if you do.

Nah, Id just lower the feed the next time, unless you are seeing the runoff way above the feed.
i lowered it to about 400 ppm for the next bit of feeding im just going to try and make sure it doesnt have any more problems until harvest time.
Just target your runoff at 1200. If your input is 500 and it’s coming out 800 add another 400 next feed. Wide swings are not really beneficial IMO.

@WickedAle I appreciate your guys help I got the rest of the grow under control with your help and its turned out great so far the trichroms are cloudy and I’m debating if I should wait for them to amber up or cut it down
