FIM Failed? Help!

This is an “After” pic of my fimming…I forgot to take a before…
Honestly have never done it to a weed plant so I just did two or three…But I will do more next year.
The buds didnt like was supposed to do according to the “Fim” guide… But the buds came out doubly fat and kinda square…very very dense couldn’t squeeze them together if I wanted too…

Perfect explanation, boss! It’s my first time filming, so I have a lot to learn, to be honest. Anyway, today I have some news! I’ve decided to change the schedule to 12/12, so the pictures above are from day one of the flowering phase, and she looks fantastic!

The main colas didn’t have too much time to develop, but for a first try, things are going well! What do you think?

And bro, she smells amazing! I’m really excited to see the results of the flowering stage! The plant loves the new 12/12 light schedule, and this run I let it dry for one more day between waterings; it seems like a good choice.

What made you change your lights? I am growing a few autos. This is my 2nd grow and I keep mine on 24hrs. Just wondering… looking for any tips that could help.

Bro, to be honest, I guess autos and photos love some dark period.

I REALLY recommend you to 20/4 or 18/6 for autos.

I switched to 12/12 a bit early cause I want some nugs before xmas u know?

And 12 hours of darkness made she start flowering. Photos can veg for months

Guys here I am again!

Is this foxtail acceptable or is something I should worry about, like too hot ambient or light extress?

They are fox tailing a bit, but no worry. I have had similar and tried backing off the light at that point. They kept on fox tailing anyway :joy: . Last grow I started backing off a few weeks pre harvest and had no fox tailing. I am not sure if it helped or coincidence as I have read genetics come into play. The plants look great :+1:.

Looking good. I just smoke the foxtails. Options are to raise lights, try to get the heat a little lower and/or reduce the time the lights are on. I have finished a few grows with 11 on and 13 off cycle.
