@Cantgetnosatisfaction Im not sure actually, I’m having trouble deciphering what I’m looking at lol… Here are a few shots of one of the tops from different angles. I can’t tell if new growths are happening or if it’s just growing back from her haircut (missed fim)?

Hey there outdoor growers, any advice on my drooping leaves? She’s been looking like this pretty consistently for a couple weeks. Typically right after watering she perks up but only for a day and then back to the droop. In this pic she was watered yesterday and is already back to it. Soil is still damp… The wind has been bad so she’s been taking a beating, I don’t know if that’s a factor or not? Same feeding regimen as the rest of my girls (Jacks 321 every watering and ff calmag once per week). No others are droopy like she’s been…

What’s the temps humidity?
How much wind?
They don’t look like they are suffering

They can handle wind like this they just need to be acclimated to it. Wind takes alot of water from the plant thru the leaves

Temps are now in 70’s -80’s but there was a stretch of 90+ for a couple weeks… Humidity normal for the season I’d say… Wind has been bad, enough to bend her at a 45 degree angle (that’s why I added a large tomato cage). She weathered a few bad thunderstorms… Growth has been consistent (and color etc), just the droopiness has me concerned because the leaves had always been more or less pointing upwards or at least level all the time…

They work hard the size and work are proportionate they need a break sometimes like resting at night . Yours in the picture might just need a little water give them a little maybe less than half it won’t hurt them

How much are you giving her when you water?

Typically about 1 gallon (sometimes a bit more) until runoff. I’ve been watering until the bottom of the fabric pot is wet across the bottom and just starting to pool underneath. I water with a sprayer so it’s slow going…

I was going to say make sure to water all the way through, she shouldn’t dry out that fast. Mine are in 20, and 35 gallon bags, I water 4 gallons every other day.

This is a couple I have, the 1 in the back takes 4 every other day and sometimes 2 gallons in-between when hot out.

Very nice setup!! :+1:t3: Mine is in a 15g pot, I’ll water every third day or so depending on if it rained or heat etc. After watering she’s happy (leaves straight) for a half day or day at the most. Then the droop, and I check soil and it’s pretty moist still. So not sure why it’s happening…

Geez I envy your water schedule .

@Dforce I am in different conditions probably extreme conditions . I find it impossible to overwater. Do either of you think you could over water your pots/bags where you grow. I have to dump water when the lower leaves are dropping and the uppers are turned away from the sun . When the wind is blowing humidity is in the 20-30s and temps are over 105. It makes my day a 150 gallon day for 6 plants

I’ve been in the 90s with high humidity, like the tropics. Starting today 80s and lower humidity for a week, then back up a bit. I haven’t over watered yet. Plants are good for now with no wilting. I get a lot of wind but my privacy fence blocks alot of it.

Ok I’m starting to think my issue may be under watering lol… I’m new to growing (this is my first ‘season’) and I’ve been paranoid about getting root rot. Maybe I’ll try increasing the frequency and see how she responds :+1:t3:

Under water is much easier to fix your doing good some people don’t make it out of the starter soils

thanks I appreciate that, I try to make the best decision at every juncture and hope for the best. And where I’ve messed up I at least try to learn from it
