Yea they are starting to ripen up nicely. I think going the extra week should do it. Should be getting close around that time. I would wait and check then and see how far along you are. You do still have a lot of white pistils

Big, juicy thunderstorm in the early morning…I look out on the girls and one of them is gone! Upon closer inspection, nothing is gone, the rain weighed down the buds so much that they’re falling to the side. Heart attack averted lol.
I plan to keep an eye on them today, but I feel like they’ll power through.
If you think I should be doing something to help them, I always welcome feedback!
Edit: I lasted about 2 hours and couldn’t take it anymore, I did my best string job to keep everything upright. They’re just so top heavy! Good problem to have though I guess

Here’s some pics of the trichromes from one of my two big girls.
Obviously I’m eager to harvest so this could be in my head, but to my untrained eye the trichromes appear to be milky as opposed to clear, with some amber here and there. The pics are pretty high quality so you can zoom in a fair ways before losing quality.
From what I’ve read, milky means more fun, energetic high and amber is more of a couch rocker.
So, all that being said, if I’m not looking for the sleepy couch high, should I be considering harvest any time now?

Update pics… it’s dropped to 52 and 46 the past couple nights and the leaves on my two bigger plants both went purple again. No other issues that I can see.

Lots of rain and cold weather has led me to taking sweet Dorothy for harvest. She was one of the bigger two and there’s no shortage of bud. I’m a little over halfway through trimming and this is what I have. First pic is the whole plant pre trim

I did some rough weighing last week and I had about 680 grams total from my two big girls, 80 grams of which is popcorn buds that I kept separate and trimmed at my leisure once the big buds were taken care of. I don’t know how long into the drying/curing process to wait before you get your final weights.
I’ve been smoking from the popcorn bud mix because they dried faster being small and all, and life is good! I’m looking forward to trying the cured goods, it can (I hope) only get better from here!
