Sorry for so many questions but today I noticed a significant amount of the edges of the new growth that weren’t brown start to brown after Wednesday that was when I watered it one gallon of ph water with 5 ml of cal mag and 1/4 teaspoon of epsom salt I thought that would stop the issue the PPFD was also lowered to 500 from 600 a week ago but I brought it down to 350 just now which is at 50 percent capacity of the lights im not sure if it’s the light that’s causing my leaves to mess up any ideas I’m getting so discouraged I’ve invested so much in this I want to get it right here is some pictures any input from anyone would be appreciated
Keep up the epson feeding and alternating water and feed days. Good call on the light, some cannabis plants can be a little more sensitive than others. Ideal PPFD is 300-500 at around 20-22” above the canopy it’s going to take several days to recover, look at the new growth instead of the older affected growth
Okay thank you for the response glad I made the right call on the lights seriously thanks for your guidance I will pay it forward some day when I get the hang of this
You’re doing great! I could show ya pics from my 1st grow that would have you crying and laughing at the same time. Do you have a light meter or the PHOTONE phone app? I use the app and it works great. I use the clone settings for seedlings
Well hey we all start somewhere that’s what I’m trying to remind myself when I get discouraged and yes I have the Photone phone app can’t beat $6 I’ve heard great things about it and now you just confirmed I went the correct route maybe one day I’ll invest in a meter but for now this has been pretty accurate no complaints
At least she’s doing well and now I know what not to do to mess her up

New growth is definitely doing much better she’s getting ready for another water feed with cal mag and epsom salt soon last water was 5 days ago
Right on Grow Sis, looking better! Give her enough to get liberal run off out the bottom of the pot. A couple more feedings and she should be on track
Yes I think so too I saw MAJOR improvements in the last couple of days with the guidance you gave me so thank you very much can’t wait to see how she does after next feeding
Will be good to see what the next run off numbers are and if a feeding will be needed next round
So my ph runoff came out to 5.24 but It went in at 6.00 and ppm keeps changing it’s driving me crazy it’s going from 700-850 I can’t get an accurate number as much as I try testing and the very first number I got was 1,600 it just kept getting lower till it got to 600 then again went back up and stayed between 700-850 but it stays more in the 800s I’m not sure what this means I’m new to all this tds testing
When I test run off I let about a cup run out 1st then I catch a sample to test. Theory is your getting the run off from mid pot level/root zone versus The bottom where most salts can accumulate. Just my way of thinking. Your input PH needs to go in at 6.5, doing as yours is low I would go in at 7.0 and feed 900-1000
You’ve got the concept, I would only tie the main over and down low as an anchor. Let those sides grow out for a week or so to catch up with the maIn you just bent over. Then work all sides to creat an even canopy
Transplanted my second plant who popped out on 9/15 from happy frog soil tonight 9/29 into 5 gallon fabric pot (permanent pot) and watered her with plain ph water
Hazel in the back is doing great and coming back from the magnesium deficiency and heat stress she had going on responding very good to LST
Nice work Grow Sis
Thank you! She probably would have died if it were not for your help she’s thriving 4 weeks of veg today this was taken yesterday
That’s some nice growth! Well done
Today was a big day I removed some bottom fan leaves mainly the ones that we’re damaged and burned and taking up space from my early on mistakes and also topped it which sucked but I know it will be worth it if I get those 2 colas
