Extremely airy buds right before harvest? Bud rot or nutrients?

I don’t use Jack’s Bloom. Jack’s 3-2-1 is a three part mixture. I don’t know what’s best for autos, but it really helped my last grow on both photos and autos vs using the Fox Farm liquid nutrients I was used to.

In small amounts. Key words.

Cal mag

Your not using more n. Then p or k.

In smaller amounts. In week 7 of flower they may still be getting 1.5-2 tsp per gallon of the 5-1-1. The maybe getting none. Each plant is different.

I was just saying pulling nitrogen completely by mid flower wont accomplish much more then making ur leaves yellow. When I started growing, Id pull it completely for fear of bad tasting buds. But as Ive grown with my plants? I see that Nitrogen is needed throughout the grow. Just in lower amounts.

I agree completely with this tho. N requirements decrease. PK increases

What about jacks 321 as alot call it. Mine reads 1-3-2. I think people mix that up.

I have Jacks. And its decent… but as I just mentiond somewhere else, I like to tinker and adjust as a plant asks for something. (I also kill plants outta pure laziness at times which is a reason to go for Jacks). I prefer my Fish Ferts tho, 5-1-1 and 0-15-15. I can tweak it by the teaspoon…

That said, I cannot for the life of me explain why Jacks just works. I mean eventually you have to tinker with the formula for some plants or grow styles. But no one thing fits everything.

N no idea what the numbers mean. I think it was just catchy and close enough to the measurements?

I think it’s called Jack’s 3-2-1 (not 123) due to the gram weight of each of the three components and the mixing order. It’s a little off, 3.6g, 2.4g, 1.0g, but they are supposed to be added in that order according to their website.

I used to use the whole Fox Farm nutrition with liquids and powder, several times had nutrient burn and varying results. This is significantly better and pretty good if you don’t want to get into the details of what’s best for the plants at different stages.

The 7000 I have is from the first run it has the ir and uv diodes in it but it doesn’t have very much red so it isn’t as nice as the new ones they have out now. I’ve been talking to sf about getting a set of the new boards to switch them out but no luck yet. The 4000 are nice lights i like em especially after they moved the diodes around on the boards it really helped get the light out around the edges
