Edit to previous post. 21 days from sprout.
Just performed my first official flush on the plants today. They had been looking “ok” but not super great so I was worried about nutrient lock. Using fox farms and it says that there can be some excess buildup so I flushed with their sledgehammer followed by ph water. Will show pics tomorrow. Too tired tonight…
Thinking about switching up my setup for the next official grow. Wanna get some input.
Here’s my idea… 2 tent grow. One 3x3 and one 2x2. Two plants on a full veg cycle (8ish weeks). Harvest clones right before flower and put clones in 2x2. Figure they’ll take a week or two to root before putting in a small tote hydro system I set up. Probably do 6 plants on the 27 gallon tote. Veg that for 4-5 weeks and then straight into flower tent just in time for harvest on the two full cycle plants. Rinse and repeat.
Anyone have any insight into this. I’m assuming many so this but I’m just trying to think if there’s anything logistical I may be forgetting.
Also probably switching to coco for next round. I like the idea of the autopots. I know a fair amount of folks are using those.
Anyways… enough of this rant. I’ll post some pics of how the ladies are doing tomorrow. Now it’s time for bed… goodnight growmies!!!
Group Photo!!!
I can already tell I should’ve only done 2. The space is about to get packed and I still got at least 3 more weeks of veg to go. Maybe I’ll force flower a little early if they get too outta control??? We’re just a little over a month from sprout. Dropped them on October 9th and they sprouted up about 6 days after that.
The flush seemed to do alright. The ladies are looking happy and healthy. Pretty sure there was some definite salt buildup in there. Probably gonna give them an extra day before watering so they can take an extra breath. Not sure how I’m feeling about fox farms. Thinking of maybe going coco and jacks 321 next to around. Any thoughts???
Also does anyone have experience with AutoPots??? I like the idea of it but would love to know more about how it holds up compared to hydro and soil. I know @Myfriendis410 uses autopots. Anyone else with some decent insight???
Those are looking like some fat colas there!!! How many weeks into flower are you??? It’s gonna be a solid harvest for you growmie!!!
Flowering- 3 weeks on one, 4 on the other. One not pictured is going on 5. Thank you. Im just trying to fatten them up now. Should be a decent little harvest come Christmas time i hope.
Santa’s gonna have a nice fat sack for ya me thinks!!! Looking good growmie!!!
Finally got the trellis up for some ScrOG action.
Been having some heating issues but I’m thinking I fixed the issue. Had the tent set up right next to radiator pipes and the Minnesota winter is upon us. Needless to say the heat kicked in. So moved the tent across the studio and hoping that will fix the issue.
Flipping December 1st I think. They sprouted around october 17th so thinking that will be enough time. The Durban poison already looks like it’s gonna have a number of solid colas on her. Girl Scout Cookie Extreme is a slower grower but still looking like she’ll be ready.
Already planning my next grow and I think I may try hydro just to try it. I got a little 17 gallon tote and/or 5 gallons buckets for a DWC grow. Big question on it though… is there a way to do hydro organically??? Everything I see with a DWC and Organics seems to say it’s a no-go. Anyone know anyone doing DWC organically???
Flipping to Flower on Friday!!! I figure they’re about ready. They sprouted right around October 17th and I figure if they’re gonna stretch I gotta watch my height in the tent.
Any tips before flipping to flower??? If I want to flush before flower should I hold off on flipping the lights??? Any recommendations for starting a successful flower stage??? Looking forward to the next 8 or so weeks!!!
And we have flipped to flower!!! Did a flush before flipping. Noticing the fox farm nutes are very salty. They seem to build up quickly. But I think the ladies are enjoying life!!!
Learning a lot with this grow and have a lot of plans for the next grows. Big thanks to this community for all the info!!!
She’s going to stretch very nicely!
Yes in deed!!! You have your girls looking very nice. Keep it growing!
That’s what I’m hoping for!!! Haha. Fingers crossed!!!
Thanks!!! Learning something new every day with this grow so excited to keep learning through the flower. It’s on now!!!
@Covertgrower would you recommend trimming up some of the fan leaves underneath the canopy for a little airflow help or should I leave it for a couple weeks??? Not sure the best practice now that she’s in flower mode. Just wanna keep my ladies happy and healthy haha
Any leaves below the screen can go. Light doesn’t reach through the screen. Anything yellow can definitely go.
That should put you in good shape for flowering and maintaining air flow.
Awesome!!! Thank you for the input!!!
