I tried rollerblading but skating boarding was never my thing. My brain can’t grab the whole idea of I’ve got nothing to hold on to or is not strapped in me somehow

. A buddy of mine and myself used to hang on the side of my truck until we got to 60mph tap the side of the truck for the other one to slam on brakes and push away and have fun on old country roads 
we was doing jackass stuff before we could afford to have a camera lol. On some freshly wet grass I would hang on to my buddies truck tailgate while he done donuts in the backyard with tennis shoes on and surf it out LOL. I’ve got tons of stories of the stupid things I’ve done
My alarm goes off at 3:00 a.m. but I’m usually up by 2:15 every morning staring at the clock

hello Paradise!!! I tell you what the sun has not woke me up and probably 10 years now.
My girls got into hover boards so naturally i had to get one too. Takes about 8 minutes for your brain to adjust with your new balance. 
I’ve seen too many YouTube videos with those things wouldn’t catch me on top of one the walls of my house would look like whack a mole where I hit it so many times @PhatPat

Haha, we would have had a blast if we lived near each other when we were younger. Used to do the same stupid stuff. I was the first one to get my license out of the group but we would go around after snow storms and drag each other with ropes on snow board or sleds. Ahhh man, the good old days, no responsibility…just fun. And at that time you think life is hard…it’s amazing what 20 years will do.
The hover boards are weird! Almost busted my ass first time I hopped on one, now I can use them but it does take quite a bit of adjustment. The weirdest thing is seeing no arm movement at all while them kids are flying around the house.
I have been kicking around the idea of getting a “one wheel” board but their super expensive for what they are (in my opinion).
I definitely agree with you we would have had a ball in our younger days being neighbors. One of these days when our government quits being a dumbass we will all have a chance to get together and don’t worry about it. I was going to get one it’d be a one wheel version I like The stance better

@DieselGRWR we didn’t quit skateboarding because we got old, we got old because we quit skateboarding . Brother I been doing same thing with my kids lol I have birdhouse board I got from Walmart lmao they sell darkstar there too and we have a hoverboard I almost broke bones first time on it my daughter rides around like it’s part of her.

I got my old zoo York board. Going to buy myself a new one this spring if I keep going consistently. Good exercise and it’s a lot of fun. I forgot how much fun I used to have skating. Most of the guys at the local park are my age or older!
I definitely don’t bounce off concrete as well as I used to
The kids just have cheapy Amazon boards for now, I think they were like $20. Even came with metal trucks one one of them! I’ll get them better boards if they stick with it. I can finally buy all the stuff I wanted back when I was a kid without my parents saying no lol. Boards and accessories seem to have held similar prices and not gone up like everything else.
