Does anyone use anything to enhance trichome production

That’s the trick - waiting til the final 2 weeks is probably just waiting too late. :v:

I use Advanced Nutrients. Bud Factor X works some magic, but to say Nirvana, Big Bud, Overdrive, and Bud Candy doesnt help would probably be inaccurate. You can check out Terpinator also.

I use a custom blend of nutes thats kinda hard to explain. I basically use jacks as a base nute, but what everyone on here uses. Fo veg i use jacks 20-20-20 cut in half dose (10-10-10) but am very curious about the 3-2-1 so i will be doing some bench scale tests with it when i get a chance(works been crazy). Straight misting inside of solo cups for moisturizing sprouts and seedling/clones. Seedlings/clones get some fertilome root enhancer and i initiate molassis(which brings gnats) , as well as micoryzae fungus and extra microbes during transplants. For flowering i first mix jacks bloom booster and scotts superbloom 50/50 for a base and i use at 1/2 strength but i also use both types kool bloom (1 is for first half of blooming the other for the second half before flushing) i am continuing molassis all the way to flush as well, and i increase dosages each feeding as far as the plants will allow. Alot of the time my only lengthy veg is for mothers. I prefer sea of greens stuffed together tight with little to no branching unless times are tight and i have to prune, manifold, and train ugh…and when i say stuffed, i mean 84 plants or so in a 4*8

I’m using UVA bars in flower to increase trich production.

That’s gonna be my next purchase. Any suggestions on which one to buy?

Mine are Spider Farmer and add on to the SF7000 I have. I’m not familiar with any other brands since this is the first for me although a bunch of growers in here use UVA.

hello , lately I’ve been using clay balls , seems to be ok , my question is will the plant get silica like this ? Dumb question I know but I had to ask . Peace .

Not a meaningful amount. The only issue I ever ran into with the clay balls is eventually they accumulate enough crusty buildup that it can interfere with the plant receiving nutrients- but we’re talking 2 years’ worth of grow without washing the LECA between grows. If you just throw them in your sink or bathtub after harvest and give them a quick rinse in hot water, they should resist that kind of mineral buildup pretty well.

Honestly I recently tried supercropping for the first time and it definitely gave me some bigger denser buds and definitely increased the trichome production compared to the branches I didn’t supercrop I’d say growing techniques and better lighting are always the best way to increase quality if you’ve already been feeding the plant properly

Really ? Ha , I’ve been throwing them in a big tub and not reusing them at all , in fact I was thinking of throwing them in the garbage . Thanks for the heads up , I have tons of the stuff . Expensive too . Peace .
