Not exactly, you can apply a large amount to the surface, and it’ll water in. A little goes a long way.
Much thanks my friend.
I like DE for lots of stuff, but doesn’t it lose its potency when it gets wet? I like those little sticky tapes to get rid of fungus gnats.
Got them too, no it will stay put and dry, often into a cement like struckture of the top soil. I will have to till topsoil regularly, should anyways.
Update- Godzilla Goo broke ground this morning. Did her in a 5gal pot. Bottom 1/3 FFSF middle 1/3 50/50 mix FFSF and FFOF top 1/3 FFOF bottom 2/3 of pot are +25% perlite top 1/3 +15% perlite. Bottom 1/2 inch of pot perlite.
I forgot, are you indoor, or indoor/outdoor? And I like your journal. Twas some interesting reading.
Indoor
Indeed, got some good stuff in here I think.
Update- fungus gnats have slowed down, doesnt seem like a ton of new ones on the traps, hopefully put a stop to their life cycle. Flowering is going well in the big tent. Gonna be a fairly small harvest I think, which is always a lil dissapointing. It is what it is, very skunky smelling already. And my lil sprout is doing good in its dome, prolly take the dome off tomorrow and install a humidifier in the tent to maintain it at 65%rh.
Depending on how the next couple weeks growth looks in the big tent, I might drop 4 new seeds into solo cups to get an early start on the next grow. Ive had good luck doing transplants with Autos I just hate addtl risk. In this case though, I doubt very much Ill have enough flower to last the 3 mnths or so to get to another harvest even with my fresh seedling. Decisions, Decisions, Decisions…
@Ickey Im jealous! Havent been camping in some time, too much time! Sounds like an amazing view, and good company too! How did your plants fare in your absence?

Want to ask you guys about using AZOS. I didnt have it when I dropped my seed. She is about 8 days old and was wanting to know if I should wait another week before giving it to her or do it now albeit in very small amount of water?
This is her.
I don’t think it would hurt a thing to dose her now.
Not sure what Azos is
Going with @Myfriendis410 on this one.
@Borderryan22 @Myfriendis410 thanks to both of you! I broke the doseing down into 1/4 tsp’s and gave her 1/2 a cup of water with 0.75 tsp.
It’s never too early or late for Azos. I sprinkle it in the transplant hole and on the root ball along with mycorrhizae.
