Would just a regular air compressor work? Couldn’t i just run the compressor with a hose in the bucket to brew up the tea? I have this already and it would be very cost effective for me.

I dont see why not, you will need to reduce the pressure significantly.
Need everything to be clean too, dont want to grow the wrong bacteria.

Its all clean. I was just using it for air pressure to tighten Archery strings on a jig. Back when i had my own business building custom Crossbow strings for a living. Theres a pressure dial on it. I can get it down to almost zero air flow. It will work fine… i just wasnt sure that the tubing out of PVC had any special effects on areating the tea. But i guess as long as im bubbling air into it, it will still work. Thank you! I am big on natural fertilizers. Im always saving egg shells, coffee grounds and organic food waste ie. Bananna peals to cook out back in a 100 gallon stainless steel drum i have that collects rain water. I want to use it up…

As far as bad bacteria though. Wouldn’t the plant just leave it? I mean, if its not good food for the plant, then just leaves it in the dirt, right?

It does, but any air is better then no air.
The air pump is the most costly part. Maybe 20 bucks in PVC. Id build the pvc part and hook compressor up to it.

No, bacteria eats the waste, produces fertilizer for plants. Bad bacterias kill good bacterias. When growing organic you feed the soil not the plant.

Ahhhh, its too early in the morning. I should’ve known this… duh…

Yes, i think i will just go ahead and get the PVC parts. It will make it alot easier to dispense into gallin watering cans also..

@Docnraq , @OGIncognito , question for you guys…

Did you ever have any leaks with the autopots? That’s what I’m scared of with automatic watering systems… :scream:

I never had one leak with the old style but had a few with the new style where the feed lines had my float off. Nothing major just have to make sure the lines and floats are level and the floats have a little bounce to them. Overall I wouldn’t trade them for anything. I am considering trying the XL where the fab bags set right in the tray versus my system of plastic pots in the trays :love_you_gesture:

The geo pots are nice i like them alot more than the plastic pots i always had problems with the plastic pots holding to much moisture lol
