I have a cheap 20 dollar Wi-Fi microscope 
Bought it on Amazon. It’s easier to cut a bud off and check the trichs or get someone to hold the phone to snip the pics when your ready. I take dozens of pics and choose the best to post.

I’m testing one of each seed to see if they pop. I’ve already tested three and two cracked and you could see the tail but they never opened all the way up. Here’s my thinkin. In nature the seed falls off and sits till next year. In theory. The shell of the seed when green has to be thicker than when completely dry. So testing viability now is kinda stupid right.

When I first harvested some seeds and tried to germ they just wouldn’t pop. After a few months of storage I dropped 21 and all popped and grew nicely. A little shelf time and they’ll be ready Brother

Ok all My Brothers and Sisters I have turned off the Auto Pots. 
The seeds are popping so It’s time for famine mode. (No more food) the pots are draining as we speak. I also turned my light down from 7 to 3. When this week is up I will go 48 hrs dark and cold.
I hope y’all are high as you wanna be.
The GSCE was pollinated so early on it didn’t develop the buds hardly at all. Oh well still gonna have a ton of seeds

I was gonna toss the light colored ones but I had a almost white seed from down low pop. The very first run I grew was Black Widow and all the seeds were white and all popped. I guess you can’t judge a seed by it’s color.

100%! Popped quite a few that wasn’t brown or striped

I’ve had a few that color that popped also.
I know it’s a lot of seeds, but the white ones I’ll squish between my finger. If it’s immature it’ll be empty and it’s easily squished.
When sorting seeds, the mature seeds are heavier, and have more weight. The immature ones don’t behave the same when sorting with a screen, or even air because they’re empty.
