we are getting pretty close…
Looking frosty. Any trichome pictures?
I don’t. I never have. I’m not sure how actually. I have a hard enough time keeping the mag/scope still enough to check them! ![]()
Here’s what I have. Some people have the Bluetooth ones but the cable is cheaper and works just fine. Pretty slick device for $25. Be sure to get one with a stand, it makes it so much easier than trying to hold it by hand. Good luck!
Here’s a sample from my camera:
Thanks for the tip! My wife’s been asking what I’d like for Christmas. ![]()
Harvested and in the drying rack. A modest yield I think. Prbly just a bit over 4oz with an estimated 80% evaporative reduction. Trimming was time consuming as sticky as the buds were. I’m hoping I am rewarded for the labor…
Tent temp 60ish. RH 50ish. I’m hoping this drying time goes closer to 10 days. Thanks to those who chimed in along the way. I always appreciate feedback , instruction and encouragement. ![]()
It looks healthy to me. Seedlings shouldn’t have supplemental nutients because Hapoy Frog soil is already rich enough for seedlings. Begin nutrients slowly starting at the begining of the vegetative stage.
Hi @maryslaton , welcome to the forums. I completely agree with you about supplemental nutrients not being needed in the first few weeks, especially with the Happy line of soils. Even though I don’t use it myself, I have read enough posts on here to know that it comes “pre-charged" out of the bag. My advice was about being careful to not over water, which is something that happens alot, especially as a newer grower. Thanks for jumping in, it’s great to have you here.
Hey @Willum , just think, if you grew 4 of them, you would have a pound of pot!. That is a decent haul for Autoflowers, especially indoors. Excited to hear about your smoke report. Congrats on your grow and harvest.
Yeah, I began with 3 with one not making it out of the ground. The light I have is rated to veg 4 and flower 3. These two didn’t produce like previous grows, but hopefully what they lack in quantity they make up in quality…
I did sample a tiny bit and am optimistic.
Every grow is an opportunity to learn something new. Even if the result isn’t what you are looking for, you have still moved forward in your knowledge and experience. So it’s still a win! Looks good.
That is exactly how I look at it. Of course the end results are what I am seeking. But If I don’t pay attention to how I get there I’ll be no better for it. The process of this type of gardening is most of the fun. Fascinating!
This session is officially complete. Just a small bud or two over 4oz. Only thing left now is to enjoy. Peace everyone! ![]()
Congrats @Willum . It’s 4oz more than you had. Always great to partake in the fruits of your labor. I’m smoking the GFOG from the community grow off and having a blast doing it.
Thanks @Darran! you’re absolutely right on both accounts. Enjoy your fruit…! ![]()
