Hi This Sat. I went into a diabetic coma. I knew I was crashing fast. Told wife get honey by the time she got back I had passed out. She poured Agave sryup in my month or I would be dead. My friends out here who are diabetic will get this. Now I recover like a bus ran over me 4 times. In pain but Alive GOD has more for me to do. @yoshi @newt @JaneQP @VaHillbilly @ slivaback203 @BobbyDigital @Tylersays @Terra2
Thank God, you’re ok now. I have those glucose tablets. Thankful that your wife was there
Glad you’re ok and were at home. There’s never a good place to have that happen but there’s way worse places. Good buddy of mine nearly lost gods old man when he went into a Diabetic coma while driving.
Glad you’re safe.
Glad you’re OK.
Sit back and take it easy a spell, glad your ok brother.
Those gulose tabs I have dont do anything. Mrs Spud is priceless
There was no reason for it one second and the next Boom crash!

If you are insulin dependent, speak with your endocrinologist about an insulin pump. People seem to have more consistent levels and less crashes with the pump.
Wow Thank God you’re ok
@spudeater65 The next time you’re a Hardees/biscuit joint, grab a few extra packs of jelly. They’re much easier to work with someone headed into hypoglycemic shock and absorbs quicker vs. the glucose tabs.
My mom was a brittle diabetic ended up and on hemodialysis for 4.5 years.
Prayers and respect, man.
Redi-whip in the mouth intsant sugar works best in low sugar
In the late 80s, my roommate and i backpacked around Europe, mostly staying in campgrounds (we brought a tent). One night, middle of the night, he had the same thing happen - while sleeping. I was able to get 1L of apple juice down him … otherwise, we’d have seen what German hospitals were like.
Usually when I would find my Mom completely out w/ glucose in the high 20’'s or low 30s, I was leery of liquids or pressurized semi-solids. Tear open a pack of jelly and smear it on the gums and under the tongue was the ticket.
For sure if they’re somewhat conscious, Redi-Whip would be a huge help.
LOL, if I could see signs her glucose was falling, I would snatch a high glycemic carb out of the fridge. Unfortunately, when she was awake and glucose would get low, she used to become soooo stubborn. She HAD to have orange juice, nothing else would do. She was an RN from 1955 until she passed back in ''03 and I can say that I believe there is truth in the old saying that medical professionals make the worst patients!!
She was in line for an insulin pump, but you know how well our government red tape processes information.
Side note: I’m pretty sure I remember us discussing back and cervical rebuilds here a while back and I think I saw your profile in IG? So if you see a user called punish2live following you there, that would be me.
Stay healthy!!!
