I can only hope mine will come out looking as good as yours, if they do it will unquestionably be my best grow. I think i said in my journal i would never do hydro. Now Im thinking it may be better for me on such a small scale. Doesn’t look like anything I would need is prohibitively expensive. And would slash my time to harvest. Probably wont be so tedious to water in a pot a normal person would use. I water every 4 days currently but it sucks to run 5 gallon thru a watering can before I get runoff.
3 1/2 months of cure of my last batch sure has improved the effects.

Hey yes you can get less denser with Sour D because it is a sativa dominant strain, but it is a hybrid so could get solid nuggets if it leans with uncle indica. You must like sativa lol Bruce Banner is awesome, I loved the one I smoked, I wish I had more room, I would go crazy
Hey brother thank you for the compliments, I thought what I was doing was soil, but it is more like hydro than soil, I only use 3gal plastic pots and I grow medium sized bushes that drink 1 1/2 gallons every other day, very manageable, you must have large bags to pour 5gal.
Yes there are types of hydro that are inexpensive to do and good nutrient lines that are easy and affordable. I have buddies that do single plant buckets and multi plant systems so if you have questions I would be glad to help.
Soil is the hardest medium to learn because there are many types of soil and you have to learn so much and all the problems.
Hydro is cut and dry, no guess work, the only place that has guess work is the seedling stage as it is in any grow.
I can walk you through most of it, what I don’t know we can find out.
Hey brother I go through so much weed I only have stuff with a few months at most to cure, but definitely they get better with age.

@Oderus here’s a Bruce Banner I’m growing. She’s got a base over 5 inches around. Snagged her on Vacation in Florida from a friend who didn’t have the room to grow and brought her 1,300 miles back home and has been in veg almost 5 months

Sour Diesel is my favorite strain, ESPECIALLY for workouts. the focus is crazy, and since no brain power required (other than concentration) It is the perfect additive to my pre workout. mostly what I’m looking for is sativa leaning hybrids. trying to find another strain with good focus. The Gary Payton I grew is pretty good for workouts. grape stomper not as much.
this run I’m growing a sativa (sour d)for daytime and an indica (wizard punch) for nighttime. I went wild purchasing seeds last couple months. have 15 autos(free with purchase) and like 30 photos maybe . I bought something called purple panty dropper cuz it was all purple and want to impress some friends . 2 plants with training techniques are yielding 8- 10 oz for me. i usually give away about half and keep the rest to get me through the next harvest. After i finish with this current scrog, I’m removing the SE 4500 and think im gonna use that to grow peppers. 2 drivers from 1100w of light heats the room pretty fast. I’m opening the window about 6-8” to let in that 20° air. keeps the room around 70 -75. Gets close to 90 with everything closed up.
If anyone has a strain that is good for focus and getting into projects feel free to let me know. I have found Durban Poison makes me paranoid.
@TrichHunter420 I read that BB can get out of control, I also read the same thing about sour D and the wizard punch I’m growing. I seem to have managed those ok. I did prune off some branches yesterday (3 weeks flower) on the sour cuz a bit too crowded. probably should have cut them before flower. My max height allowable is about 5’. I’m gonna try a 2 x 2 manifolded scrog with the BB.
the trunk on my sour D is roughly 3” around and pided at 4” off the dirt. plant is 20” tall. 32” Diameter. if you look at the trunk you can see where I was too aggressive tying down branches and split the main stem a little bit. so lucky I didnt kill the thing.

Well I pulled the trigger on another HLG 200w Rspec like the one over White truffle!!! So next grow I will have 500w in my closet during flower and like I said I called HLG and talk to them about what I wanted and they delivered, they had a board that had a flaw in the screen printing, barely noticeable but they were not going to sell it, it doesn’t effect the workings of the light, so I bought it and saved a ton!!! My mom always said if you don’t ask you’ll never know
I enjoy working with the people at HLG I’m a dedicated customer ever since I got on this forum and learning about lights, with my friends and myself I have bought several lights only one from the website, the rest I called them and they helped me save.
