What are your guys thoughts on defoliating auto flowers in the veg stage? Not a crazy amount just enough for light to get into all the little nooks.

I get at them, and treat em like a photo, just new to autos but donât treat them different some do some donât.

Hey brother I agree with @Bentstick I treat my autos the same as I do photos, I just expressed my opinion on defoliating a post or two back, and I only top one time, so I really donât stress them much

I didnt think it would be too detrimental to the autos if I just took a few fan leafs. Iâve already started lsting you think itâs too late to try topping?

I donât do lst I grow straight up bushes, and I top at 11th node giving me 20 branches, sorry not much help my friend, nice looking plant buddy, keep up the good work

Those arenât big enough to take leaves yet, leaves are solar panels that power growth, they absorb the light, so taking fans now is taking their energy away from them. Autos best left to grow without stressing them as they do not recover, they donât have time. Autos are like firecrackers, once you light the fuse, itâs on and you get what you get. Best to just be really careful to give them optimal conditions and let them do what they will. Only leaves I take are huge fans that are blocking light or air to the canopy. Good luck on those!

Master kush is still hiding, depending on if she shows today or tomorrow as to what I call day 1 Hopefully I will have 4 before tomorrow 
All 3 were born without helmet head 
By dampening the top 1/2 inch every day it keeps the peat moss compact and it helps shed the shell⌠This is the only time I feel helpless waiting on seeds to pop, now that they are plants I know what to do 
So stinking happy!!! Nothing to do at this point, just get my oscillating tower fan blowing on them I do not dome, I water my plants I donât expect them to get moisture from the air that is what roots are for. My mgpm has a good nute Iâm sure so I have nothing to do but water when necessary. Hope you guys are having a great weekend, mine just got better Happy growing yall till next time

Hey I am pointing a light at my plant while defoliating. What could be a reason my leafs look like they have glitter all over them?

Hey yall here we are at DAY 1 and all 4 are up, Master kush popped today with a terrible case of helmet head, used a finger on the back of the seed, a thumbnail and a toothpick to separate the shell halfs then used the tip of the toothpick to zip the placenta open to allowing the leafs to open
The other girls are all standing tall this morning, you can see how dry the medium is and I dug down a bit and itâs really airy and drying.

I have some concerns about the last bag of miracle grow potting mix which is the top 3 or 4 inches in each pot, as I said this stuff is crazy unconcistant and this bag was all really fluffy consisting coco and peat and perlite, very little of the forest products, evaporation is drying out fairly quickly, I like having a lot of wood chips it retains moisture better than coco and mosses. So I was not going to add any water for a couple more days, but as airy as this shit is I am adding just a 3/4 cup right around each there is plenty of moisture further down to last a few days or when I would normally water. Boy I wish I could have known about that 1 bag being so airy I would have put it on the bottoms lol Oh well it is what it is, Iâll adjust 
Got the tower fan so the girls get a little wiggle
I knew I was lucky 3 without helmet head and like always its the scariest time for me birth!!! But I got it off quickly and it may not slow her down much 
To most a day lost doesnât mean much, but a day is a lot in the speed of my grows, the next week or two I will have a good idea who is going strong or struggling in any way. Anyway guys I am pretty busy mon, tues, but I will be checking in
