Day 6 - dried leaves - should I be worried?

I’m day 6 into my grow and the seeds have sprouted, but some of the leaves look like they are dried on the edges.

Is this normal? or should I do something?

Thanks

Can you get a closer look

I sure can, the one looks good, the other 3 not so much…

First, your pellet looks a little wet. I don’t care for them. I recommend rapid rooters. I see water on your leaves, those droplets act as magnifying glass. What’s the ph of water, kind of light and height and nutrients if any

I just sprayed them once this morning. I didn’t water until now as the pellet was moist.
I don’t know the pH, I ordered a meter, it’ll be here wednesday,
it is boiled well water, no nutrients
The tall one is 1 1/4"

brown stuff on leaf in first close up is the protective husk that keeps the leaves healthy till they hatch and growl. nothing to be concerned about.
If you don’t like…take a needle and VERY GENTLY remove it…

Thanks, I’ll just leave, afraid to ruin it.

I’ll make sure to get Rapid Rooter next time.

I agree with @HornHead looks a lil too wet. From what I have learned is not to spray the seedlings. They just need a little moisture. The round leaves are the food in there first stage. I spritz the soil around it a lil bit. Your gonna be fine. Happy growing and 420 :sunglasses::v::call_me_hand:

I’m assuming you don’t know the ppms of your well water?
Why are you boiling it?
If you boil it, water evaporates, increasing the ppms.

Newbie mistake, I thought it would help, ppm meter arrives on Wednesday too

i always use distilled water for germ/seedlings! i am a newbie but am 6 for 7 germ. i tried the jiffy pellets first and got them to work, but like putting mine into seedling soil in a solo cup now.
