Good morning @kaptain3d it’s gonna be another beautiful day here in mid Michigan.

So these seedlings have been outside for 6 hours of sun for 2 days in a row. Today I’m gonna shoot for the whole day. They seem a little stretched out. You guys think they’ll be alright

If there’s not too much wind, they should be fine.
If there’s a lot of wind, you can split a few straws lenghtwise and “wrap” them around the stem, pushing the straw in the soil. Or use some skewers as stakes…

Lil leggy for my liking to be out in the breeze, when mine get like that I normaly will pop them out of the cup take off a 3rd of soil at the bottom of cup drop back in cup and use what I took off and bury the stem hope that made sense, did it with about 20 of them this yr. :+1: No mercy for them any more. Make them conform they are tough lil bishes.

@kaptain3d @Bentstick both good ideas. There is zero wind at the moment so I’m gonna leave them, at least for now. I will keep an eye on them though.

Wind is currently 2mph

@Bentstick I’m such a heavy handed person with sausage fingers i hate playing with seedlings. I think transplanting is a better idea. They are currently in 8oz solo cups i think i could transplant into a 16oz solo cup without removing any dirt from the bottom of the 8 oz and get the depth i need to bury the stem.

@dforce With 2-3 months until flowering, I topped my monsters. No room to bend them over and they are just too tall already. A few were already in pre-flower, so that was chopped off. Need to keep them below the fence/roof. Will bend over the flower stretch. Hated to not be able to make clones due to legal limits.

The 3 seedlings in the blue line I’m going to plant directly in the ground and the other 3 are going into bigger containers so I get those lengthy stems buried a little bit.

First wave of storms has passed poured pretty good. The 3 flapjacks seedlings in the ground are still standing up proud. The 3 in cups are under shelter.

Welp it rained pretty good for quite awhile overnight. Can’t wait to get home from work at 1pm and check on my new seedlings.

Both sprouted within 12 hours off each other. This one has been in a cup in full sun

This one was transplanted from cup directly into the ground about 3 days ago. Been in full sun and went through an entire day of rain and storms.

With the rain came unwanted weeds. Monday morning looks like a good time to get them out of the garden
