DanBs Purple Kush auto grow off

In the last 4 days she has tripled in size. And like I said I think my ppm pen is broken, gonna get a new one and see what’s happening.

@Lostgirl I can confirm my ppm pen is broken. I just fed my other girls and I did only 5ML m,g,b and 5ml of everything else and still came out 1000 ppm. So it’s definitely a broken ppm pen.

@SeaOhAreWhy I think I’ve seen in other posts you dabble in DWC or RDWC. Just wondering what style and system you use. And what nutrients.

Hi @DanB :victory_hand: I run DWC in 5 gal buckets using Kosher nutients. I sometimes use Jacks and GH trio. Current grow I’m using Jacks. Stay lifted :hugs:

That was the water from top feeding threw the Promix, I changed and cleaned the entire system.

Here is today

I did run into a little bit of a problem while cleaning the coil I used a smaller hose for a few hours and it was not keeping the bucket cool enough, now I have other coil in and bucket is staying cool.

Ok everyone that is following and has experience in DWC,RDWC or and pump style water feeding I have a question, if I was to put both my res outside the tent and the res in the tent at the same height, and connected a hose to the bottom of both buckets, I could then use this pump set every hour cycle to put water from the outside res in and let it drain the bottom.

Picture what I am saying, still rotating the water just not using a coil anymore. So y’all think it will work?

Decided to adjust air flow and see what happens and possibly do RDWC next grow.

I did just start 2 more beans in the 2x2 so with both tents I’m up to 7 planted, 5 growing.

Did you give up on the cooling coils?

Not yet, I think the coil will work I just need a pump that will circulate the cooling water more then every hour.

Let me clarify, I am putting bottles of saltwater frozen in the res, and my temps are drifting back an forth between 68-73°F but my pump at its lowest rating can only operate every hour, so I cycle 64°F water into my res that the water reaches a max of 73°F, and I had my 1200LPM air pump full into the rez, too much air. Now that I lowered the air and reset my correct coil things are smoothing out back to where it should be.

But next round I am going to try this same system but as RDWC, I found the hose that I want to use as a return. With how cold I can keep the outside res and the water having a gravity return I could help keep the water colder inside the tent.

Well things are looking better, cleaner whiter roots, lowering the oxygen to the bucket and adding 2 ML of H2O2 and she is perky again.

Here we have BBOG

Here we have Strawberry diesel and pineapple daddy.

Here are the ones I just put beans in.

We got taps on the NL and the other Strawberry diesel in the 2x2. So 4 autos and 3 photos. Let’s see how this goes.

Did a res change an all plants got fed last night.

And in the 2x2 we have one that popped dirt and the NL is not far behind.

And in the name of forest gump: that’s all I have to say about that!

So I killed the NL she was burying herself upside down and I tried to flip her but broke her tap. So I replaced her with a BB Tartz.

So the DWC has responded very well to adjusting both air flow and water temp.

And the full view of the tent.

2 strawberry diesel, 1 pineapple daddy,1 doc BBOG, 1 doc Snowblind.

Might do a feeding today but they calling for snow already. It’s 30F this morning

I had a sprout do that. Growing upside down, tap root came out the top of the rockwool. I broke it trying to flip it. I still flipped it over, put back in the rockwool, it rooted and grew.

@Growdoc is it normal for the exhaust system to build up back pressure. Only have fan and filter attached.

Meaning I can feel air pushing back into the tent from the fan.

Morning Dan absolutely not your exhaust fan should cause the sides of your tent to pull in a little bit
