Sorry about all the fiery-depths-of-hell-and-back issues you’ve had, but damn glad you didn’t put a match to the whole thing - looks like you’re gonna snatch victory from the jaws of Blibdoolpoolp, the demon of reservoir chemistry problems.
On a lighter note, your thread is still full of win. So many great informative science posts, delish human and canine meals, wonderful bud pics, and more riveting ups and downs than a horror pic. Keep up the good work!! :grinning_cat:

I’m putting together a shopping list for this weekend and I was wondering what your go to bbq sauce is when you make the bacon explosion? And is cheddar and jalapenos the way to go?…or should I get the pepper jack like in the video? And if we do the jalapenos do you use fresh or pickled? Sorry for all the questions haha it’s just it looks sooo good.

No worries!

It really depends on what everyone there will eat. Usually it’s sweet baby rays original, sharp cheddar, and pickled jalapeños. This is the least spicy version that my littler kids will eat if we pull jalapeños out.

It’s good with pepperjack but the sharp cheddar with jalapeños is more of my jam. I don’t think you will be disappointed either way. When i make more than 1 i use kjnders black cherry Chipotle because it has just a little zip and some sweetness, but my wife and kids think its too spicy.

You’re in better shape than me. I made some crepe batter just pulling out of refrigerator and dialing in some sausage links. Boss here has to work at 11 so we’re chilling.

Lol. I found a recipe that is pretty low fuss and still good. I just add 1 tbsp of that blackberry brandy. Also, the batter will be lumpy if you dont sift flour but not unmanageable.

Wow is that a way back Machine trip! My grandfather had a bottle of blackberry brandy out in the garage on the top shelf. Only had any during deer hunting. You literally just zipped my mind back to 1987 in a heart beat​:+1:
