So I was looking at your ppm goin in , am I reading that right, 1713 ? You may need a battery in your meter. She’s getting low. I’m wondering if I’m misreading the numbers. I’m still learning with the Jacks.

Yes, it’s just the way this meter reads. That number is basically 1.7 EC
Def need to replace batteries.

Thanks Low , I am having a fine time ! I’m glad I saw your low battery, it reminded me to take the batteries out of mine , replenish probe solutionand clean it well before putting it into storage mode. Thank You twice !

Didn’t like the look of the nutrient res…
Reservoir cleaned, drained, and filled.
Jacks full strength for 60 gallons… Calibrated both pH and EC.. pH was in line.. EC was good on one of the calibration was off by nearly 3 full points on the other. 
Wanted a little higher number. Who knows- maybe it’s been lower than I expected this whole time.. wish I knew.
Much better clarity when part a mixes ahead of time. That yellow color is what I aim for- not red. Gotta stay on top of that.

Still trending alkaline… a little higher than before. Maybe they are taking up a lot of nitrogen and leaving behind more calcium. If my EC meter has been reading higher than what’s actually there- the low EC could be a part of the cause.
I want to go in and look- but I am waiting until tomorrow.

Unfortunately I did it up way too much on Monday night and was sick all day yesterday. I rarely ever have that sort of aftermath. A lil break is in order.

Remember when I had this issue in coco? We ended up turning up the EC and it stabilized. 
I’m thinking we ended up around 1800 EC going in. This round in the Promix, I haven’t had that and I ran the going in even lower.

Yes, but you were doing a semi dry back also, right? Low EC can def cause it. I’ve had success with 1.7 before, I was aiming for 1.8 though. That’s why I’m confused. 55 gallons of water, mixed full strength for 60. First meter said 2.4EC added less than a gallon of RO and it showed 1.7… it’s bizarre, there is a quirk somewhere. Will get it figured out. Soon hopefully.

That is some beautiful weed , Low. I’m working out on the Blackberry Moonrocks . Trying to get it bucked down and end up trimming it out.
The Moonrocks is greasy Kushberry dankness. Came out good for outdoor. Really strong on the nose and 2 hit quitter. All in all very pleased. Making slow but steady progress.
