I have started to, about 2 hours after applying the pollen, spraying with water. I’m not real thorough, but it does get some of the excess pollen out of the air and helps keep down the spread.
Precision is good, but expect seeds where you didn’t want them just so you aren’t disappointed if it happens.
I felt the same way - don’t really care that I’m drowning in seeds, but it was definitely an eye-opener. I always thought people were exaggerating about the damage a herm can do if it’s totally unmitigated but once I was intentionally pollenating, it all made sense.
Sounds like a great experience. I/we opted to go this route because we or I hit a wall. Very excited to experience this first hand and I think that it in itself is outweighing the act.
Edit
I been trying to find a way to make what I just said make sense but I’m elevated as fuhhhhh
Pretty much. Definitely not chasing yield though. So, not too concerned about uneven canopy. We will see what happens there’s a few aggressive strains in the mix.
I would guess it’s probably safe in the reservoir but it may cause some bacteria growth and may gunk up some lines possibly if anything try it out like once a week or you could always hand feed it 1-2x per week??
I was hoping it would aid in cleaning the lines/medium vs causing build up. If not I probably won’t use it. just kinda sitting there, and don’t really have a use for it otherwise.
