Super badass!
I had to google that Missouri 1c
That’s a Tax Token???
Never heard of it, freakin sweet
@DankBank22 Nice! That’s a good one to have and especially with the picture man! I am a veteran as well but unfortunately when I walked into the AF recruiter and told them I wanted to be a pilot…they started laughing and one stopped to breath and utter son the only thing you could fly would be a cargo plane if your lucky!..I walked out and went across the hallway and Joined the Army. I don’t blame them seeing as how I am way too big to fly anything…6’5 330lbs I had to tape to get into the army and even though I scored two points off from maxing out my asvab score and qualified for any job in the army…it came down to communications or medical equipment repairer…I went 25Q. multi channel transmissions. The military payment certificates are one of my most prized collectibles! I did some research and they are from WWI or WW2 i cant remember to be honest! Oh since your Air Force I have another something cool to show you!! Be back shortly with Picture of it!
Yes! That is an actual coin that you would get as receipt of paying your taxes from a long time ago to show proof of paying personal property tax in Missouri! I think that is the coolest thing ever TBH! I didnt even know that they used to do that lol
I’m looking at some land in Edwards Missouri.
@CoyoteCody Yeah to be honest it is a very good place to live cave country, lake of the ozarks branson…so many things and not as violent as other places good place to raise a family in my opinion! I have to look and see where that is at…I am about 15 mins from Ft.Leonard Wood and St.Roberts.
@CoyoteCody Thanks for that you were way faster than me! That is awesome how much land you looking at getting? Land is fairly priced around here and like I said very good place…your not too far at all if you get it let me know brother maybe we can link up! You all on here are like family to me honestly…last time i felt this level of brotherhood was when I was in the Army! Just way cooler here since we all love growing!
I’m looking at 17 acars for $13,500 no house on it or anything yet, but has electric available already, just have to get me a single wide put on it for now, get septic dug, and a well drilled, thinking about getting some cattle, or chickens. I will keep you posted but it wont be for a couple more years, only have $23,000 left to pay on this house.
`Thank you Sir!
I don’t know you were a Vet as well. Thank you for your service Sir! And yeah recruiters are all dicks hahah. Shame they were like that. But Damn! 6’5, 330…you were a big dude!
MOS-25Q! Damn dude bringing back memories. Where were you stationed?
When we are at Bagram (I was a C-130 Crew Chief) we would drop ammo/food/water to the Marines and Army up in the mountains, anyway we had to have A-10support. All of the A-10’s and drop zones were all coordinated through MOS-25Q. That’s nuts man…what a small world!
Sorry got hung up at the store…had no service , couldn’t reply.
Obviously desert/sand shades, but what are they exactly???
They almost look like “Nuke Shades”
@CoyoteCody I am not going anywhere for sure I have two houses and a foundation from a house that burnt down a couple years ago that I am soon about to turn into a Grow op…half greenhouse and half indoor grow…will be used strictly for growing weed! Purchased the property at too good of a price and when I did so it turned my two houses and properties into 3 and made it a private drive…Super excited about my plans…especially due to the positioning and the way the sun rides directly over my properties.
I believe they are either WW1 pilot goggles before they went to helmet goggle combo…or just some really old safety glasses…cant pinpoint them I know that it is hand worked leather and the glass in them is beveled…if you were to look them up they say first gen aviator goggles…so old hard to narrow it down.
Very cool, keep me updated on that for sure, I want to build a green house as soon as I get out there.
Hey @CoyoteCody sorry to smudge into your convo…
But damn dude, that’s a hell of a steal on the land. 17acres!! I see you’re in New Mexico?
Sounds like you’ve got your land futures figures out! Nice
Ahhhh ok yeah yeah, I see it now.
I’ve got a book that’s about 8 inches thick.
It just a military hardware/tools/equipment Encyclopedia. I grabbed a screen grab of your pic. I’m gonna do a little research, see if I can help you identify what and when!
Thank you for your service as well brother! My Brother retired from AF…My first duty station was Ft.Riley Kansas and was assigned to the just reactivated Big red one division. I deployed to Baghdad Iraq when they reactivated and deployed the division. I did get to shake Obama’s hand at Fob Falcon where I was deployed to but never got a picture. I did my basic at Fort Benning and my training for 25Q at Fort Gordon. I was assigned to Brigade S-6 when I got to the unit.
You are fine I dont mind at all! It was priced at $1,000 an acre but they just reduced it. It’s been posted for almost 2 years now and I’m hoping it will stay listed for 2 more lmao. Yes sir, I’m in the middle the oil patch, after all this Corona crap clears up and oil goes back up my house is worth a small fortune, well for me anyways, but it will be enough for my brother and I to each get our own land out there so we are not cooped up in the house together with all the kids, wives, and stuff lol, it’s been a rough past 4 years but the investment was totally worth it, and be even more worth it once its paid off and we are out there.
@CoyoteCody Yes sir I will most Def. keep you posted…I am going to try and utilize my VA benefits to fund the project! It is a House foundation after all so should be able to finagle it lol
