A customer has a question and I hope we can get some opinions on it, thanks
“I have just started out with autoflowers. Could anyone please advise me on what lighting to use for 2 plants in an airing cupboard? It’s only for personal use so 2 plants on the go will be plenty for me. I don’t have a lot of money so cheap but effective would be best. I live in the UK.”
CFl lights from hardware store are cheap and work I’m just not sure if you can use them from start to finish I think T5 florescence are cheap and can be used from start to finish and don’t use much electricity
I agree, cfl is the way to go if you want to stay cheap in a small space. To maximize the par of cfl, mount it horizontally with some sort of reflector. You can make them pretty easily with hvac duct, baking pans, or even by painting your interior a high reflective flat white. Having good reflection makes a world of difference when using cfl. Otherwise about 70% of your light will be wasted.
