Most of us encounter critters all the time, either at work, home or in the garden.
Some are scary, some are funny and some are just plain amazing.
Mowing the back acre:
Shook his out of my pants leg at work:
And this is Bob. All our jumping spiders are named “Bob”. We have Little Bob, Twitchy Bob… and of course Big Bob. Big Bob prefers the drama of a silhouette shot.
Whatchall got roaming in your neck of the woods?

@kaptain3d , you’re everywhere! And pretty darn fast. No wonder ILGM is so awesome.
Between the mods and the mentors, y’all are on it.

Here’s Dinkleman, our resident hawk.
I’ll have to dig deeper for pics, but he was born in the pine in front of our house. He still hangs around, but I’m afraid we accidentally chased off Mom and Dad.
Me and the Missus actually got to see his first flight.

I’m a former Army medic that participated in Summertime field exercises at Ft. Hood Texas. The most frequent injuries we had were heat injuries - soldiers not drinking enough water.
The second most frequent injuries were dumba$$es that turned over rocks to play with the scorpions and who got stung for it.

One morning in Sugar Land (Texas),
I slid under a tractor to locate a bad wire.
Fun little tussle with the guy already under the tractor.
The young guys thought I was a superhero… I was just playing tough and trying not to scream like a little girl!
Thank you for your service! My Missus was Army, deployed from Germany to the theater in Desert Storm.
God Bless!

Copperheads are one of my favorite snakes, as long as they are “over there”.
