Looking great! I love seeing how big the leaves are now that you FIMed, looks like something took a big bite out of them. Look at how much new growth on top of them. LST looking good. I might try that on a couple this next go round.

Fingers @pr. Just wash ya hands good. Thanks buddy yours is looking great too! Remember I’m in coco which is considered a hydro form of growing so plants take off faster in coco than soil.
@MO_Grow417 i know right she is chugging along. Even with the early pre-flower from the FIM and my cat breaking one of her colas I’m still pretty happy with her and the way she is forming.
I need to install a Trellis net today for sure! It’s gonna get packed in here

Did u see how lame my outdoor sda is? Heat stroke? But I moved from solo with the black gold I USE to use, to 3 gal happy frog with maxi grow and calm mag. See what that does? Headed home from some work to hit the cloud lab, stay tuned as i want to make a move on the indoor auto today. Fim, bend, whatever most beneficial after we take a gander at her. The Mkp’s are looking great to me. Lush! Hell suggested not to mess with photos yet, then top at 6-7 node.

Yeah she did seem like she was struggling a little bit out there @pr. Maybe the heat. Yeah that sounds like a good plan to me wait for 5 or 6 more then top photos. Your indoor auto you could definitely probably bend over about now if you wanted

Will tag when I assess shortly. I actually really like the structure of that one I super cropped. Since then, topped once and lst. Today im putting it in a 5 gal fabric finally. Maybe super crop is my thing?!

Day 18 opened up the bigger random strain auto that I ATTEMPTED to FIM but my cat had other plans and snapped a top. Anywho she is still growing quite decently so we will see how she turns out. And the one passion punch auto in the middle is just explosive with growth u feel like lately haha

Idk about everyone else but from last night to this morning a see the middle and back one exploding!
@Nicky the one in the back was the one I attempted to FIM she was at 15days and I sent her into pre flower I think I just did it too early? And I used my fingers so I think I messed her FIM up and did a top but I Had three tops coming out till my cat snapped one hahaha here is when I did it

I can’t really make out the 2nd picture but this is the cut you want on all 4 leafs
See how the stem is intact and then it fans out and there is still some leaf material, almost like a webbed duck foot.
You need all 4 cut like that, if you cut one to short because the scissors were not level or you couldn’t see what you were pinching then you will get 3 or if you do 2 and go to far on the other two you basically just did a improper top but it will respond the same as topping.
This is why I suggest trimming snips, line your cut up, check all 4 leafs and then cut.

Ok so question?! When is it ok to defoliate an auto? Can I do it here and there as I need it? I’ve been just tucking leaves but I’m curious about defoliating and autos?? @Nicky @Not2SureYet @GreenSnek @TLC

I try not to trim until pre flower but sometimes It’s a benefit during veg.

I pluck throughout the grow on my auto if they r in way enoigh. But basically same as photos wwhen u see pistils start counting roighly 21 and 42 days for defols. Ull see a stall around that time in the plant like it does nothing for several days. Hit it then while she is busting out more roots. Ive foind that once they r going good u can do quite a bit with autos just not like u can wiyh photos because of the no veg time. I just bend the main of i do and keep it spread open as much as possible. Otherwis i just spread branches to open it up like my zkittlez now. Just bare ot bottom and thinned out to get light thru

Week 3 of flower, and then after you see it get bushy again do it again. You cna also strip all the fan leafs off the last week or two before harvest.
