Did some topping & training:
Janice Clone on the left is due for her first full root-ball prune, which I will get to in the next couple of days.
Janice on the right had a good nest of roots under the netpot, more than I expected, so she got her first root prune beyond the netpot since her full root ball prune last week.
Thermpro, past week: A couple of cooler days. Once it gets cold enough, I’ll swap the LED tubes for my fluros to gain a degree or two back.

Been pruning these Janis to try & keep growth slow:
Getting roots out of the bottom from the clone (left) that got the full root ball prune recently, & both seem to be happy for now. Probably time to do a root prune outside of the net pot & swap out the top lava on the right plant.

Plant on the right got fresh top lava, & a root prune below the net-pot. There were many more roots under there than I had expected.
They both got some top pruning & training, just trying to keep everything relatively low & even in height
Thermpro, past week: Still on LED conversion tubes, switching to fluros will net me a little more heat once it starts getting colder. They also throw a little less light which could be helpful if I can’t keep the plants low enough.

Did some root pruning on the original Janice today (left), & fresh lava on top. I trained the clone shorter a few days ago with some clips, after giving it a root prune & fresh top lava. Top trimming/pruning has been as needed every few days.

Did a round of top-pruning & root-pruning over the past couple days:
Seed-Janice (left) will be heading into the Main Cab asap, but probably not for at least another week.

Been letting Seed-Janice tops grow out a little, since she’ll be heading into the Main Cab soon:
Clone-Janice got a top pruning & some minor training to keep the tops low.

Ended up topping Janice on the left, since I needed more time before sending her to the Main Cab.

Did a round of topping & partial leaf-trimming:
Noticed some slow drainage when watering again, so she’s due for another root pruning around the outside of the netpot, & she might need a full rootball prune soon.
