Last week i sprouted up a half sized batch of alfalfa to make a seed sprout tea (for enzymes and organic pgr’s) alfalfa can only be used untill end of transition, being in the 4th week today i started germinating some red lentils for this weeks enzymes this sst will be full strength. A corn sst would be best for the next couple weeks but a lentil sst is safe from early veg (week2) untill end of week 6 in flower possibly week 7 if running closer to a 10 week schedule or beyond.
Im seeing sativa leaning phenos across the board , likely a contribution from the single male of 5 that had heavy sativa leaning traits. These phenos are about a week to 10 days slower to transition , for the most part that have two things in common , fuel and a sweet tart note as they are entering full flower.
This is a poledancer#2 x poledancer sativa leaning pheno
Love what you are doing. I have enjoyed getting caught up on your thread.
Thanks ! Its nice to see some faces around here i dont see many people around where i dont really get over to see others threads these days , im always working on at least one project or another. Wish i had time to be more social butyou know how it is life gets busy ![]()
I thought that’s a surprise, or unusual in your grows.. What’s up with that. Cuz she’s a tall girl I’m guessing..?
Absolutely , shes just too tall and i have the lights to spare. Also im nowhere close to maxed out on my use of the room to be honest wish i had a bunch more in pots but i had to get things going in a hurry so more flower is the plan, i mean i could have just cleaned it up but this will work. Eventually id like to have a strip of underlighting through every second row on the beds and a strip down the lower outter wall but thats a ways off i still have a lot to do to get this room where i want it. Need to get the co2 generator set up next but waiting to start a job after the holidays ![]()
I dont think i have posted a picture of the rozay sorbet x poledancer in a few weeks , nice short plant with stalks built to carry a load . Amongst the easiest to grow to this point , i wasn’t overly impressed with the two runs i had with the moms so this one will probably be the only one i run for a bit if its like the rozay sorbet tho i expect a reasonable influence from the poledancer side as it seems to have some dominate traits especially with the screaming eagles
I was quite surprised to see how fast a fresh bag of red lentils germinate in a warm spot , i started the process around 8am yesterday and by 5 am today they were ready to hit the blender! Great option for anyone that forgot to soak their corn/barley/alfalfa in time for a feed.
I have been afraid to use humics at any kinda proper level after listening to a fella that was trying to screw with us
, but i have decided to erase all he “taught” us lol and have gone with using the fertafulvic again , just using it at 2/3 suggested dose and will keep a close eye on how that effects things. I expect to need less as far as weekly feeds go but i may still be on the low side as it is , time will tell
I still use the Fulvic from transition top dress through to wk 3 flowering. I just use it 1/8 tsp/gal fertifulvic
Forgot to say, I love that you are running your own seeds. Much respect. ![]()
Its going to take a few years to get a idea whats what but im up to the challenge , great thing is i dont need to keep cuts going for a bit at least.
This poledancer #1 is definitely the nastiest smelling gal in the room at this point , she assaulted my nostrils this morning. Took my breath away for a couple minutes, shes gonna be a treat for the pallet
I have not been adjusting my plain waters ph but i do a weekly check on soil ph before feeding , the soil is usually right around 6.5-6.6 mid way between watering and around 6 just as it dries back so i have been feeding around 5.8 to allow the soil to progress from 5.8-6.5 allowing all nutrients and micros to be available. Ph sweep (not sure that a proper term) has basically eliminated any signs of actual deficiencies i mean i still have a little vpd issues in a couple hot spots but thats not a nutrition uptake issue. Simplified and effective i like it
