Storms rolling in early today… usually afternoon showers during monsoon season… it’ll be a busy day @ work, my poor 40 yr old cast iron roof drains can’t handle torrential downpours.

That’s the roof of your house? Lol I thought u were a roofer and the views u share were from jobs.

@LoCoRock question for you. I’m using ff gringo Rasta. It says feed twice a week, I was going to do Fri and tue. I fed Friday but my soil wasn’t dry til this morning. So should I feed again even tho they haven’t been watered since the last feeding?

No sir…I actually have a job! Maintenance supervisor @ a condo & that’s my rooftop view. aka smoke spot.
Ran this was the best watering method ideology.
The volume of water needed in each irrigation must be, at least, a quarter the total volume of the pot or container. Watering slowly and uniformly 2 - 3 times in intervals! Then once completed and water is seeping out the bottom, lift up your container to get a feel for the weight of the pot. Now use this as a future factor come next watering time - usually every 3-6 days depending on substrate used, temp. & multitude of other factors!

EXACTLY what i do. Slowly and completely saturate. Lift for approx weights and lift daily to see how much is left. As u keep growing u learn to free hand wet pots vs dry pots. Havent stuck my finger in soil in months

And once you get an idea of how hungry your plants are ( feel for nute tolerance) you’ll get an idea or feel for just water or nutes. Some plants can tolerate a feeding twice a week, my GL loves food!

Thanks guys. I can’t lift the pot. It’s LST to a trellis and frame. The soil is dry down to 2nd knuckle on my finger. I don’t know the exact volume of my pot but I could figure it out for the formula you suggested. Let me ask my question a different way. Is it going to risk burning or lockout if I go feed-feed with no water in between instead of the traditional feed-water-feed that most people suggest. I would assume the water in between feedings help flush out some nutes. I don’t want to burn or lockout from over feeding.

Your in no harm man, especially if your doing light/general feeding. Ive been know to feed, feed, feed, water sometimes!!! LoL not often but I have to test the waters and that’s how I know GL is a nute whore!!

@LoCoRock @PurpNGold74 thanks guys. I’ve never used nutes in soil before. When I did outside guerilla I did time release everything and didn’t go back to the spot for a month. Of course that was in the Reggie days. That’s a weight off of my shoulders. I started with two, one was male and I don’t want to lose this one. Can’t afford too…my allowance runs down quick if I have to buy it lol :grinning: :joy:

We’re looking at your situation all wrong. You dont get an “alliwance”. Your wife pays you a monthly live in gigalo fee. For sex and stuff lol

@Gremmall lol. I know. It’s actually a cool thing. I started 3 years ago and it allowed me to do nft in our empty rental and do some farming stuff and do volunteer coaching instead of paid all the time. It’s crazy how much we save a month by repurposing stuff and growing our own weed alone saves about 1200-1600 a month. I am blessed.
