Insight on coco.
I love the medium. Peat is a little airier than coco but coco is a renewable resource unlike peat if that matters. You do need to run nutes with cal mag or one designed for coco. Advice on feeding is usually feed/water/feed etc. daily. I preferred every couple of days. When they are cranking in veg you have that additional control: the TDS in and the frequency. During that period I might be doing F/F/F/W instead of F/W/F/W. Flush at changes in nutrients. I use a flushing agent as well. I PH,everything to 5.8 to 6.0 for MY setup using straight R/O.
TDS levels just like drain to waste hydro schedule.

What’s your ppm levels? I keep mine 1300 to 1800 in flower, in veg 700 to 1000. I run co2 levels at 1300 ppm in veg I keep my ph 5.8 to 6.0 in flower 6.1 to 6.4. No co2 in veg.

No. I disagree! Soil done right is not easy at all. Coco is a pain in the butt to manage the PH. Hydro is probably the easiest. No pests, Just mix some nutrients and adjust PH, and there you go.

That is way too much ppm in flower. Perhaps 1800 one time at transition.
We are learning that lower ppm in flower promotes healthier and better tasting weed. In hydro if you use too much ppm, you will never get weed to taste good.

I shoot for 800 to 900 ppm in veg and 1,200 to 1,300 in mid flower. Like @latewood said; I give a P,K boost at transition but not higher than about 1,400 ppm.

Do you guys use flawless to flush? I didn’t use this one before and I want to give it a try what you guys think a out this? @latewood @Myfriendis410

I use Flora Kleen at mid veg, transition and final flush.

I do not use commercial flushing agents anymore. Never liked the taste. I do use Flora Kleen to dissolve salts from my hydroton, though.
