Nice bro
Yeah I’m in NY and will stay here im still fairly young at 46 so retirement is a way off for me still
Not sure I could leave NY any how permanently
Maybe I’ll do the snow bird thing
I actually enjoy the season changes
I have a little bit of property2-1/2 private acres as well so I’m comfortable here

@country, I like the way you moved them together. Looks great. Is the fencing for the chicks? or to keep the animals away from the greenhouses?

It’s to keep the larger animals away hopefully whatever ever got at last outdoor grow hahaha
I need to pin bottoms down still
The digging ones will get in if they want to
I put soap shavings around the perimeter also to deter pest and planted some mint plants around to keep rodents away :+1::grin:
The chick will be closer to house on a serperate enclosure with metal fence with a net over top to keep hawks at bay

Lol

Very nice. A Busy spring, means a busy fall! lol. Very good, I like where this is all going!

Thanks bud I’m trying some new things here bro lol
I will have veggies in the front and medicine in the back
I push them together so it more like one large green house @bob31 sincevthey have front and back doors once together I was able to leave center open and pulled back to create more room
It’s a work in progress tho and I’m hoping I get a few years out of them I was talking to wife and I may get some sort of kereosesne heater for them in the fall
So I can get more use out of them

Nice job John!

Hahahah
I don’t know about thinking it out @bob31
Remember I was planning on monster grow originally
But Wifey didn’t want me to be seen from the air
So the green houses where just a means to an end my friend
I was not going to be denied growing outdoors
Bob lol
It I have put a lot of though into since I decided to go this route lol
How’s your shed build going anyway bobby ?

up where you stay that would be great… my granpa had an old wood burning stove in his green house…did not use it much, but if a cold snap hit we were down there filling up the green house with plants and lighting the stove…lol he had a nursery and landscaping business…

@BIGE it was something my wife are kicking around and like you said it wouldn’t be used all the time
These aren’t 4 season green houses
But if these workbout I may invest in a more permanent situation
I was involved in a biuld out of a sick green house
For this wealthy lady who grew rare orchids cross bred them al what not
She had two boilers dedicated for the green house
It had a pitying shed in center and a green house on either ends
Outdoor planting beds as well
All heated planting beds as well indoors and out
Also humidity controls and A/C
At the time I didn’t see the value in it but I would kill for a set up like that now
We installed about 100000 dollars of equipment pipe and labor into that job
And we just did Enviromental systems I’d guesss total build about 250000

that’s a very clean looking set up…once the pollen starts falling, you might have to wash the outside off, depending on rainfall.
maybe put a sheet of plastic on top where the two tents meet, keep rain water from falling in that space?

I only had mine up one year, dunno if it’s the best way to go, I had a heavy piece of plastic on the ground to stop the lawn grass from growing inside…and mine was on a gentle slope so when I watered, it drained and ran out the back of the tent…just my experiences, I will watch your grow and learn more!

I have some rubber I’m going to put in between the planters in front section and was thinking about just using a weed barrier in the back section since I have every thing in pots still @kabongster
But yeah I’ve been thinking about the best method to control that lol
Thanks for the heads up
